SoAr sind für das Tuska bestätigt. Das Festival findet statt vom 30.06. bis 02.07.

DVD release postponed
The release of Sonata Arctica's live DVD/CD "For The Sake Of Revenge" was postponed. According to Nuclear Blast the new release date will be the 12th of May, 2006 (Finnish release date stays on May 3rd).

Also... das Album / die DVD kommen am 24. Mai.... angeblich, ich wunder mich nur, warum am Mittwoch? :glotz:
Weiterhin stellt sich selbstverständlich die Frage, ob es nicht noch das eine oder andere Mal verschoben wird. Ich meine... November war mal geplant, also November 2005, vll wirds dann ja 2006 was. Das Material ist ja auch brandneu von Februar 2005.
(Die CD hört sich aber gut an :pfeif: )
Und laut persönlichen Informationen von Jani an mich wird Sonata Arctica definitiv nicht in Wacken spielen. Es werden auch erstmal keine neuen Dates dazu kommen. Sie brauchen eine Pause! (Das war vor dem Vodka ;))

Sonata Arctica's live DVD "For The Sake Of Revenge" entered the Finnish
music-DVD charts at #1!
The CD version of "For The Sake Of Revenge" entered the album charts at #26.

Sonata Arctica's two latest releases have entered the Official Finnish Charts. "Replica 2006" went straight to #1 on the Single Charts and "The Collection" to #16 on the Album Charts.

Release des neuen Albums in Deutschland ist am 25.Mai.
Tracklist ist mit der finnischen Version identisch, ausserdem gibt es noch eine Limited mit einem Bonustrack und natürlich auch eine Vinyl-Ausführung.

chance to get his life together before making this public, which is why we didn't make this
announcement earlier. We wish Jani well on his chosen path.
"Show must go on", so, facing the facts, we hereby humbly announce that Elias Viljanen
is from this day forward a full and official member of Sonata Arctica.
Throughout this summer, on many occasions, Elias has shown himself to be able to fill
the big boots Jani left behind.
We hope our friends and our fans understand that this was the only choice left for us to make so
that our band could continue. Sonata Arctica has always been, and always will be, more than the
sum of its parts. The band has become for us a way of life, a lifeline that simply can not be cut off.
A long "Unia" -tour lies in front of us.
We extend Elias a warm welcome to the Sonata family, and we hope the fans will, too.
Sonata Arctica is whole again.
See you on the road!
