Hi everybody!
Here's a question for you about the forum settings. I noticed that most of you already write as members so what do you think: should I change settings so that only members will be allowed to write messages and guests can only read?
Please take part on this poll and if possible tell me your reasons you voted "yes" or "no".

I agree! and it's easier because sometimes you forget to log in and your comment is registered as if you're a guest, a bit confusing if you ask me.

Here is my opinion. It's not really that difficult to register. So, if they are serious about what they want to say, they can and probably will register.
Registration doesn't stop them from doing or saying crazy things, anyway. So, just make it a little more difficult. :D

I figure that if you are going to use the sight and want to make a comment or suggestion then you should have the courtesy of signing in and letting it be known who you are. Like Pat said~ it won't stop anyone from making crazy comments but ifyou have something worth saying then own up to it.

I have just voted to say whether peeps should registar or not to make a comment.
So far according to the poll only 6 people have sent a vote in. Come on guys..Michi is doing this for us and its only fair to her to give her some feed back on the subject...Liz :-D

I think it should be members-only posting because of the experiences I've had at LiveJournal--open sites like this invite trolls, who just come in, write nasty stuff just to tick people off, then leave. As a mod, I'd rather not have to deal with that--I set up my Simply Red community on there to disallow anonymous AND non-community-member posting. Read all you like, but if what you have to share is that important that you feel compelled to post, joining up won't hurt.
Makes my job easier, and makes the people here feel comfortable knowing that they won't have to worry about some stranger slagging them off. Sounds good to me.

I think persons should be registered to post. It helps to keep the trolls at bay and also for everyone to take ownership of the content of their posts.
