More Music @ The Moore--You all should go!
I tried to find an unimpeding place to put this, but I am participating in a super-cool event called More Music @ the Moore. It takes place on May 9th, 2008 at the Moore Theater at 7:30 PM. It's like a talent show, but without a competition. I'm in a combo with Gabe, Evan Shay, Carmen Rothwell, and Alex Evenson, and we are playing jazz along with other cool groups like a string quartet, drum ensembles, a classical brass quartet, a gospel choir, and lots of others. We work with a guy named Daniel Bernard Roumain (DBR) a really well-known violinist who melds us together to try and create new types of music. I think it's going to be really fun, and you should all try to go. If you want to go, or think you might be free, you should talk to me to get tickets (they cost $12).
