Link - Benny & Bjorn Interview - 'The Sun'
Hello,
There is a large Benny & Bjorn Interview in today's 'The Sun'.
It is the UK's Best Selling Daily 'Paper' - and - unfortunately -
one of those that tells the most lies, & distortions of reality.

However, they do some very interesting Music etc. Articles, &
the Benny & Bjorn Interview is very good. There are some nice
Photos too.

Thanks for the link. Nice pictures but I hope Björn doesn´t lose anymore weight, we don´t want him to fade away.

Thanks for the interview, very interesting! I even think the picture below is a new one though I am not sure.

Quote: According to veteran presenter Terry Wogan, Western European countries don’t stand a chance because neighbouring Eastern European states always vote for each other. Benny and Björn disagree.
Benny says: “It has always been the case, even in the Sixties and Seventies, that neighbouring countries would vote for each other.
“The Scandinavians were notorious for it. Why wouldn’t they? They have the same kind of traditions.
“It’s like the Irish voting for the British and vice-versa.”

Hats off, guys. You are smart people.

I like the idea of them secretly getting together and singing their songs, with a bottle of champagne.

From the article:
Are there any ABBA songs the duo can no longer listen to?
A whole album full, it seems.
Benny jokes: “I suggested to the record company that after ABBA Gold, they should do ABBA Wood, with the worst stuff.”
Bjorn adds, modestly: “We could probably fill at least one CD with the not-so-good stuff.”

That "ABBA Wood" comment is funny, but I certainly couldn't fill one CD with songs that would qualify. Even the songs that I like the least are still songs I like!

How sad that the newspaper most people buy is the one with the worst standards of journalism. Why the majority always prefers the lowest quality tv and news-sources over the higher quality ones has always angered me

People prefer reading hype and non-news trash because most folks are mentally lazy. They only want to read and watch stuff that allows them to switch their minds off: love affairs and other silly scandals instead of the more important matters which will, later, affect them severely. By the time the really important matters hit them, it's much too late to do anything.

Bad journalism is designed to put people to sleep so they wont notice the most important issues.

The Guardian, The Times, The Telegraph, and others, are much better sources of information and will inform you better about the real issues which are creeping up on us. "Forewarned is fore-armed" as they say! i.e., If you get good information, you'll be better equipped to defend yourself later.

I don't hold much hope for the future of the world when the majority of people read papers of the quality of "The Sun". :sob1:

I hasten to add that if The Sun features an interview with anyone from ABBA, as it does here, I'd walk over an old woman's body on the pavement just to get myself a copy

Good read! thanks...
