    a late happy b-day?
    i kinda forgot, but.....

    happy b-day SA?!

i think this is about 2 months past due, I believe this clan was technically created in November 2003. however...
...considering DEATHby was converted into clan Rage by Demok, Apple, Lunar, Juggalo, and myself...
...then we converted Rage (kicked the leader out) (Ragekrast) (LOL) into Silence...
...then we changed the name Silence into Silent Assassins... this clan was probably born around May 2003.

    XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
i actually did some research, so fuck the above date...
    3/22/03 Beginning of DEATHby Clan
    Founders: DEATHby_Surprise, DEATHby_Disaster.
3/22/03--the official birthday.. so we're like 2.85 years old or something
    XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

    Past Leaders:
    Surprise--about a year
then a bunch of leadership changes... after RTW came out, I stepped down to a guidance spot.
I believe I granted Daman right to leadership
then he disappeared somewhere and I granted Pariya leadership, or it was voted upon I cannot remember. I remember I wanted Shout to be the leader at some point in time.
Then I think Daman came back, and Pariya stopped playing because he couldn't afford cable any more or something.. LOL
Then Daman quit because he couldn't handle it I guess, and I can't remember if I told everyone Wind should be the leader or if they voted him in.
Wind was possibly the longest standing SA member, even longer than me. However, it is between me, furious, and wind for the longest standing SA member. If I still considered myself a member today then it would be me.
Wind had the second longest leadership streak (1st--me), he deserves a lot of credit, even if he didnt do a tremendous job. There comes a point where a person breaks, and they need to go elsewhere. Dont hold too much of a grudge (no pun intended, it was his former name) against him.

Now the leadership today, where does it stand? who knows...
I recommend against a council, a recommend picking the most dedicated, confident person, who you guys think gives you the greatest chance of winning on the battlefield, whether it be strategies or just plain visciousness and tenacity on the attack.

A council tends to create great turmoil within a clan, and not everyone wants to be a leader, or is fit to be a leader.

cheers guys, gj at keeping it going.

    extra:
i feel like trying to name all of the former and current members of SA (VI), give it my best:
    1)Surprise (Arcane) (Tempest), originally DEATHby_Surprise
    2)Apple
    3)Demok
    4)Lunar (Dracithius)
    5)Juggalo
    6)TekiSeki (Stygian)
    7)Mr. No (Trickster)
    8)Evangelion (ChiZhang)
    9)Wind (Grudge)
10)Machete (our chinaman, played on 56k in China) (we fielded a 3 man chinese team Evan, Mach, Teki in a TWPL win)
    11)Daman (danoob..etc..Kahuna (gay))
    12)Pariya
    13)Furious
    14)Ichi
    15)Kalle

I'm proud to say we stole most of our players from other clans, these players above were fucking A-grade (except wind, jug) i apologize to you two :(

    Silence Era
16)Distro (almost forgot him, i think I drove him insane and he quit)
17)Sadistic (almost forgot him too, he left during the Silence Era)

    DEATHby Era ( http://deathbyclan.tripod.com/us/id2.html )
THE WEBSITE IS STILL UP, UNBELIEVABLE, LOL
    18)Hurricane
    19)Steel
20)Disaster (my best friend in real life, started it all with him)
    21)Apple
    22)Flashover
    23)Sacrifice
    24)Nightmare
    25)Insurrection
26)Samurai (one of my other really good friends!! very limited time in the clan though)
27)TheSword (a french guy with undeniably the most ridiculous temper in SA history. Teki and Mr-No are the runner-ups)

I did not include recruits who did not make it past the recruitment stage.
In addition, I am probably forgetting 1-2 players somehow.

    also:
Major Victories-- probably the most out of any standing clan today in Total War... POSSIBLY the Wolves are tied, I dont think so though. Wolves never won a CWC, the only tournament Wolves won were several repeats in the CWB, which the entered once, but I believe that was when it died.

CWC Winter 2004 Mizu vs SA for the Championship, SA WINNERS 3-1
CWC Summer 2004 KOS AEL vs SA for the Championship SA WINNERS 2-1
CWC MTW GRAND CHAMPION TOURNY i think it was TWC vs SA (HUGE RIVALRY) SA won 2-1

keep in mind we had to defeat several teams each time to get to the championship.

in CWC Winter 2004, Mizu beat Wolves in Semi-Final.
Mizu vs SA were the best two 4v4 teams ever to be on the same field.

TWC were also a very good team, more credit to Mizu though.

We also won the TWPL, 1st place in the season, and won the championship for that as well IN A RIDICULOUSLY CLOSE DECISION.

As far as I'm concerned RTK had a slight edge over us for the best 3v3 team ever in my mind, congrats to them. But we still won :)

Then we won the TWWC, because the entire USA team was SA... lol

I won a 1v1 Contest, Invictus tourney, I didnt lose one match...

A while back there was a ladder that I arguably went undefeated at 27-0 before i stopped. you can say I went 27-1 but Insane-Maceman had morale turned off for that battle :\ without me knowing :\

    yea... good times man :)

we never lost a MTW tourney btw :)

I am also not sure if I was more intelligent back then... or now:
Recruitment tagline: "If you can't beat 'em, join 'em"

    JOIN DEATHby

    Looking to join?
What DEATHby is looking for in a recruit
    -Activity
    -The right attitude
    -Strong values
    -Patience
-A will to learn new things

    ahaha brilliant ^^

guess what, the best players had exactly those characteristics

    Re: a late happy b-day?

    `-Silent-4Kings - 11.01.2006, 18:20

i cant remember who was leader of SA when i was an assassin lol

but the kind bastard promoted me when he left along with such greats as Silent-Blitz & Silent-Zeph

in those days it was such a fuking honour to get in to SA and be an assassin and it was even more of an honour to be a True Silent

So lets keep the tradition alive in this new era of Silent Assassins !

    Hail silent
