BAO - the English album: information and wishes
Benny has recently confirmed on Allsång på Skansen that there will be an English album by BAO.
However there is no information what this album should include.
So why not make up some track-lists until definite information is available.
I guess that the album will mostly include songs with singing - otherwise it would not make sense to record an English album if there are mostly instrumentals on it. Furthermore I think that at least some of the songs will be Swedish songs translated into English - that's at least what I hope.

So here's my little track-list (I chose to use the swedish titles instead of translations so everyone knows which songs I speak of).

03. Duvemåla hage (hopefully with an arangement similar to the one from Skansen)
04. Det är vi ändå
05. Guldet blev till sand
06. New Song
07. För dig
08. Someone Else's Story
09. Fait accompli

12. Hemma
13. Vår sista dans
14. Klinga mina klockor

This is my idea, now time for your. I didn't chose Du måste finnas not because I don't like that song - it's rather the opposite but I doubt that BAO's sound is big enough to be a good substitute for a full synphonic orchester...

I've been thinking about this for a few days now but I can't really come up with a tracklist. I'm not so sure on the Kristina songs (with an exception for Duvamala Haga), because I think that it should really be a BAO album. I would like them to include Bonde soker fru in English because it has hit potential in my (old) ears.
Further I agree on most tracks you've choosen but I miss Tobakshandlervisa.

I only choosed vocal songs, but maybe some of the great instrumentals should be on the album, too.

BAO - all the hits and more
Hi there everyone,

Still no news about a BAO-cd with their hits (and more) recorded in English? No journalist has asked about it in a recent interview? Let's hope the BAO-members find the time soon to get together and record their fav songs in English. I suppose Björn will write the lyrics to the songs, which will take some time. Wishing him a lot of inspiration and joy while working on it!
