Swedish Banknotes
Sorry if this is terribly boring but it seems Sweden are to have some new banknotes in a few years time. Also there's a list of old style notes that are no longer in circulation or generally accepted.
(i) New notes news
(ii) Old notes news with pictures of old notes.

They look a lot like the Euro banknotes. I like the Greta Garbo note.

I fear though they won't be exchanged 1:1 into Euros.

If they had ABBA pictures, they'd go 1:2 into Euros.

Yesterday three new coins was presented (1 sek, 2 sek and 5 sek). The design is made by Ernst Nordin and is inspired by the Ted Gärdestad (Polar-artist!) song "Sol, vind och vatten" (Sun, wind and water).

I made a topic on this quite a while ago:

For fun I made an ABBA-note in paint a while ago. I post it here if I find it again. Indeed it would have been fun to have such a note for real. I think that the choice of people for the new notes is ok, but I don't totaly like the design.

Perfect. Tack sa mycket. Now we've got a duplicate which we don't know how to handle, since it was older than three months when the new one was created and therefore the second can't be locked according to outlined procedures . . .

Sorry, I didn't know that. I just searched for this old thread that I knew excisted when I read about the coins, and first after that I noticed that there was a newer one on the same topic (and thought that it perhaps was possible to merge the threads or something) :?
Hope this wont cause too much confusion...
Fixed it, no problem. Your recent posts were merged into this thread, and the other thread was locked to avoid any further confusion. Laura, moderating.
