Is there a reason why all these clips from France are in black and white?
Anyway... happy to have seen this although it was strange seeing them perform this song sitting down.
And the interviewer asked some silly questions: You're not afraid someone might steal your wives?
Here is more info:

A few months ago in another topic, it was explained (by someone??) that the French color TV system (secam) was different, and color wasn't recorded by the PAL recorders of the time. Too bad, because color adds greatly to the visual experience. :(
I like my ABBA girls in living color!!

LOL I couldn't stop laughing when I heard the question. At least the guy was being honest, admitting what the entire male population thought of the girls, and it is a big compliment as well.
Yeah, Agnetha seemed to have been tired or angry. That is what Abba on TV says.
Frida looked quite cheerful and obviously wanted to say something but she was the only one who did not utter a word! Strange.

Hey,
I spoke with Sara from abbaontv recently. She told me that one fan (who i THINK is called Josef) has spent many hours getting his hands on these clips in colour, this is where the colour pictures on abbaontv come from. He is VERY reluctant to share these with others, and only will to trade with other fans, but he has EVERYTHING and knowone has anything he doesn't have...so i guess this is all we're going to get..unless someone has something truly rare? lol. I can understand how he's worked hard for them and doesn't want anyone seeing them without recognition, but if it were me, i would share them because i'd want all fans to see what they wanted etc. Oh well

I have it in colour. You know what the worst thing is. People sell it for a LOT of money on Ebay and so. Or they get the stuff from Youtube and sell it, they even call it 'best quality ever seen' while we all know Youtube quality is the worst. I actually had this with a guy at the international ABBAday in Roosendaal. He tried to screw me over with this.
I get so mad at people like this. That's why i don't let the stuff go.
Jozsef is in fact the guy who managed to get this material from the archives but he doesn't release it easily. I swapped with him because i had some nice things he wanted to have. He is also the one who turned them into black and white and let it go into the world like this. I myself hate this too actually, in black and white and with Youtube quality it's not worth looking at.
Maxi-saxi - 16.10.2007, 05:08
A shame really
If I had this stuff in top quality I would share it with any one who wanted it, I know some people are only interested in making money. Which Sucks.

Of course! But there is one in quite a good condition on Abbainternet, Fernando Top Club. I am not sure if he has a few more in colour?

I very much doubt so, seeing as i was the person who gave the file to abbainter.net, exactly for the purpose of it being shared to all fans, because this is what I wanted. I spent several days just going through many sharing programs and this was one of the few rarities i found. I recently lost thousands of ABBA files after a computer crash and i think i lost this file with it, But as long as its out there for the fans, i am happy. I wish all fans would be like me, and share anything like these performances with their fellow fans.

I am not like that.
I wish i could just let everything go and know i only make fans happy and not the sellers who are just interested in making money. It has happened before i released a piece of the Dinah Shore interview and after no time, it was on internet all over the place, even on DVD's for sale on Ebay and that was just a very small piece in Black and white...
Mira - 16.10.2007, 22:57
I think no need to care too much about sellers. They will ever exist.
More important are all ordinary fans , who are just happy to see all this treasures. As much people have chance to own rarities - as less sellers.
This is the place to thank to all fans who enable us to see all Abba's rare performances !
Carribean - 16.10.2007, 23:48
I agree Mira!
It is sad that some ABBA fans try to make money of fellowfans.
We all share the love for ABBA and I for one have shared a lot of stuff.
I also have gotten a lot in return which is great but not my goal. I love to share a rarity just to get the surprised and happy comments.
There are some great fans on YouTube right now and I try to make sure I leave nice comments when a rare video is shared!
And I am glad most of us are not about money but just about the passion for ABBA!

there is a second part of the intervieuw which is not featured on youtube!
Michel Drucker, the presentator, tells Frida she should go into the movies because of her incredible beauty, and Fida humly answers.....:
"Why not...but I am getting older"....
then M.Drucker asks her to say something in French to the vieuwers:
And Frida in French straight into the camera with a very sexy voice executes:
" je t'aime" ( I love you)
At that time Drucker is totally overwhelmed....
So Frida DID open her mouth during the intervieuw and how.... :-)
I saw the whole original bradcasting in April 1978,and I still have a audio document of the whole thing.

Exactly. Long live sharing! Unfortunately, I was confused once by a public straightforward offer for which I thought was sharing, but it turned out to be swapping instead. I was left disappointed but still with the desire to share. :P
Phil: :boogie: :boogie: That interview would be worth 3 French clips! LOL

I hope I did not offend you, I was making a point about some so called fans who are after huge $$$$
If I have please accept my apologies, if I have. I know There are many people here who like to help others out And that is fantastic, But just as you said check out on ebay and see some of the items there.

That's not really the right order.
For everyone who thinks i am being selfish and not want to share:

@Maxi, it's okay ;)
Mira - 17.10.2007, 18:25
Eh, it realy look great in colours!
Ofcourse you are not selfish, blauwbloempje. You just feel deceive-it's normal.
What i try to say,for me personaly, things like that does not matter.
And as Carribean said:
