    Parts with numbers (US airplane)
    Hello,

Last week in the woods I found these airplane parts with paint and numbers.

Along with it I found many exploded .50 cal bullets with the primer still intact, so i think the parts are from an US airplane.

I hope you can identify the plane type with these numbers/stamps:

    Thanks in advance!,

This are parts of a Republic P-47D

The letter "C" in the part numbers indicated parts from the centre section of the wings

    Regards
    Nils

    Thanks for your help :n108:
Can you please upload a picture from this plane?
Because with google I can only find the "Republic P47-D thunderbolt,
    and not the "Lockheed P47-D".

    Regards,

    Bart
