hello

bought me a new camera the other day (just in time for Roo)
it's nice...trouble is my old cards give me just 200 photo's on a 1gb sd card.
so i've just bought a 4gb peak high capacity flash card (sd still)

now i'll be able to get about 34 mins video as well as loads of piccies for you at Roo!

4 Gb SD cards
It might be worth checking since I also bought a 4Gb SD card but the computer can't read it - so I now stick to 2Gb ones. I don't have a problem with Compact Flash - so it might be the reader I'm using.

this card i got is an sdhc and you are right.
it don't work on my 2 year old laptop.

i'll buy a couple of bog standard 2gig cards.

This is the Goderie, and right across the street is the Central hotel from which Gary took a beautiful pictures of all the bikes. The Goderie is to the right across the street :D

The picture Gary took of all the bikes struck me funny. That's something you don't often see in the US. Perhaps because they would probably be stolen if not under direct security. :?

it's onr of the great things at the event:seeing what people are wearing.

that finished it was off to the Big Ben (again?) 'cos Elaine fancied the stroganoff they where serving.
now:i come from West Ewell...this is a town right next to Epsom.
in fact it is "Epsom and Ewell borough"
i travel to a foreign country to a town not really frequented by tourists
so imagine how surprised i was when i found this in Big Ben
even though it is one of the big races

as you know Charlie told me my new card might not be recognised by my old laptop and it wasn't :(

so i linked the camera to the laptop and it downloaded the video :)

gary This guy is called Randy, I met him for the first time this Roo-weekend and he came over to Roosendaal from Arizona...A nice shirt and a very nice guy. :wink: He even can sing a MM musical song in Dutch! 8)
