ABBA THE ALBUM DELUXE EDITION NEW RELEASE
Hello everyone,

Got the DeLuxe Edition yesterday.

Looks good, nice and matches ARRIVAL deLuxe.

Of course what we are all after is the DVD.

Glad to see they did to Eagle/Thank You For The Music from Star Parade what I did 2 years ago! Took them long enough!

Happy to see Take A Chance On Me Star Parade there too, again, they have "stereofied" it, like I did 2 years ago! They also could not make the ending stereo, so they did same as me! My "edit" point however is better than Universals! Toward the end the song is edited, I think mine sounds better done.

The TV ads are great! I remember those from when I was a kid.

Seems they had to use a mono soundtrack for the Yarwood Thank You For The Music, so their researchers couldn't find it in stereo either then!

Has anyone found that at the beginning of The Name Of The Game (Japan) and a few others, the track/sound starts abruptly and sounds as if it was cut off at the beginning? Maybe my DVD recorder settings.

Not too pleased with it being ProLogic as default, Dolby Digital is what I use and prefer myself, gives a much crisper trebled sound and more of a suround effect. ProLogic makes the songs sound like when one does the OOPS effect.

Still, a year and a half and Voulez-Vous, and I do hope we get ABBA In Switzerland on that as an extra.

Overall, OK, but could do better with rare clips, we all know they are out there, why don't they just get them and give them to us officially!
