i won't be on much
my grandfather is termally ill
docs wanted to send him home (from the hospital) ,but my grandfather wanted to stay another week ,to see if the Abcess is decreasing
doc explained to him ,he could die within a week (depents on how the Abcess (Cancer) is growing)
so he could die in the hospital
but he wants to fight ,he rather wants to die with the knowledge he did everything to stay with his family
would you girls pray for him
i know it would help alot ,cause miracles still happen

AW I'm so very sorry. You and your family are in my thoughts, my heart and prayers. A fighting spirit is sometimes all it takes to win - here's to hope and hoping that your grandfather wins.

Same thing happened to a good friend of mine last week. Her dad had to go to hospital and died of cancer within a week ... sometimes it´s going real fast.
Be aware of what can happen and take your time to say "good-bye" - IT´S SO IMPORTANT !!! I couldn´t say good-bye to my grandpa and it´s still bothering me ...
Your grandpa seems to be a very strong person and that´s good!
Be for sure that I´m with you !!!

So sorry to hear this, Eddiefever. I lost my grandfather when I was 12 years old. He went in for routine surgery and never regained consciousness. I think it's important to be prepared, but I also believe that a fighting spirit can make all of the difference in the world. One of my co-worker's father was given weeks to live, and he went on to live more than 2 years after that. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

UPDATE:
my "grandfather" is back home to die
he told us himself that he won't be here long
so we're keeping our fingers crossed & keep on praying
but if he says it himself ,than it is bound to happen :'(
none of the medicine was helping ,so the infection behind his long did not go away either ,because of that he couldn't get LaserTreatment / ChemoTherapy
the Cancer-Abcess has grown so much.
they can't do nothing ,cause it's become to big
the doc said he could Die in 4 hours or 4 days
but Heck ,but if we listen'd to the doc than my grandpa already should have been death.
God has helped my grandpa a lot already ,which i'm very thankfull of
ofcourse we'll keep on praying
now it's just a waiting game

i just wanted to let everybody know that my Grandfather died around 3.30 Am today
On his Birthday !!!!
for him this was the best gift he could ever gotten from above :D
he's not in pain anymore & he said goodbye to everyone on Saterday ,cause he Knew it wouldn't take long
we're going to celebrate his life & pray that he will be in God's Kingdom ,surrounded by ppl he loved ,that died before him.
i wanna thank everyone for their Thoughts ,Prayer & Hugs
they were much needed & Very Apriciated

oh well, I don´t know what to say ... seems like he left in peace!
Good you all were able to say good-bye! It makes it more easy for both sides.
It´s special if somebody dies the same day one was born ... maybe he was ready and wanted to leave.
My prayers are with you and your family ... and you know where to find us, if you need somebody to talk to.

I am sorry to hear of your grandfather's passing but know he is now free from pain and went the way he wanted to - surrounded by his loving family. Rejoice in the memories you have of him...hang onto them.

i'm really happy that he didn't have to wait any longer
he fought the battle & days before he died he Knew he wouldn't be here much longer
thankfully he told it to us ,so that we could prepair ourselfs a bit
when someone wants to fight ,you fight with them ,so you keep hoping for a full recovery
for him to say it himself ,gives you peace ,cause he showed that he was ready
he just wanted to see the entire family
which he did :D
the funny thing is that my sister said yesterday : Maybe he's waiting till his B-Day?
maybe she was right :D
anyway:
we now have an extra Angel to watch over us
