    Scratch'n in the Sandbox
Just found this forum and thought I'd scratch the surface and say hey. New to this group, but travel around a few others. Anybody around that wants to yell at me, I dare you!

    Re: Scratch'n in the Sandbox

    BLAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

Welcome :) Have you had a look around? And if you have, do you like it so far?

We're all pretty nice people, in our own way  :P

    Re: Scratch'n in the Sandbox

    Jenn - 03.06.2005, 20:22

Been looking around for a little while. So far I like what I see, considering I haven't come upon any 16 yr olds yet. They annoy the hell out of me, but then we were all that age.
Love the different areas for chat.

    Re: Scratch'n in the Sandbox

    BenDaMan - 03.06.2005, 20:25

Yes, hopefully this site doesnt get over-ridden by 14-16 year olds.

    Re: Scratch'n in the Sandbox

    Jenn - 03.06.2005, 20:28

To bad the age limit couldn't be higher.
Maybe a mentality test to weed out the losers.

    Re: Scratch'n in the Sandbox

    BenDaMan - 03.06.2005, 20:29

That could work, but then we would lose the advantage of having weirdos to keep us entertained.

    Re: Scratch'n in the Sandbox

    Jenn - 03.06.2005, 20:32

    Bwaaahahahahahaha
    too true.

How close is Albury to Sidney?

    Re: Scratch'n in the Sandbox

    BenDaMan - 03.06.2005, 20:34

    *Sydney

I've never been there, but I'll estimate and say it's about a 10 hour drive north of Albury.

    Re: Scratch'n in the Sandbox

    Jenn - 03.06.2005, 20:36

How long you been there? Man, I'd love to see Sydney.

    Re: Scratch'n in the Sandbox

    BenDaMan - 03.06.2005, 20:39

I've been in albury for about 8 years on and off. I used to live here when I was about 5, and I've been back here for about 2 years now. Between then and now I lived in the suburbs of Melbourne for 10 years.

    Re: Scratch'n in the Sandbox

    Petty Officer?

    Re: Scratch'n in the Sandbox

    BenDaMan - 03.06.2005, 20:48

Meh, that's just a rank on how much posts you have. This is still a fairly new site, and the creator of the site hasnt changed the ranking thing yet.

    Re: Scratch'n in the Sandbox

    Jenn - 03.06.2005, 20:51

well damn, I rather like mine!
I could do all kinds of things with that.

    Re: Scratch'n in the Sandbox

    BenDaMan - 03.06.2005, 20:58

you can keep it, as long as you stay under 100 posts :P

I figure he'll get around to changing it one day, if this site takes off.

    Re: Scratch'n in the Sandbox

    Jenn - 03.06.2005, 21:19

How did you get the "just ignore everything...." under each of your posts?

    Re: Scratch'n in the Sandbox

BenDaMan wrote: Meh, that's just a rank on how much posts you have. This is still a fairly new site, and the creator of the site hasnt changed the ranking thing yet.

Actually, there was no ranking system in the original software, just the option to create one. So I implemented the ranks from Starfleet in "Star Trek" :-)

    Re: Scratch'n in the Sandbox

    BenDaMan - 03.06.2005, 21:34

Oh, lol :P Well what's the highest 'rank'? And how many posts is that?

I just assumed it was a default setting, because I think I've been called a petty officer somewhere else :?

    Re: Scratch'n in the Sandbox

    Jenn - 03.06.2005, 21:37

woohoo...so I can keep crewman recruit? Sounds adventerous above my avy! Unless of course you have something better.

Just what kind of role playing do you do?

    Re: Scratch'n in the Sandbox

    BenDaMan - 03.06.2005, 21:39

I don't do any kind of role playing at all.

    Re: Scratch'n in the Sandbox

    Jenn - 03.06.2005, 21:44

    BenDaMan - 03.06.2005, 21:56

    OMG! I found a friend, wheeeee! :P

You'd be suprised how many people find my annoying and rude.

    Re: Scratch'n in the Sandbox

    Jenn - 03.06.2005, 21:59

ah hell, the way I see it, it takes one to know one.
    *pats new buddy on head*

    Re: Scratch'n in the Sandbox

    BenDaMan - 03.06.2005, 22:03

Huzzah, this could either be the beginning of a good friendship, or the beggining of a bitter hatred.

    Re: Scratch'n in the Sandbox

    Jenn - 03.06.2005, 22:11

Shall we travel down the road and find out?

    Let the games begin......Mwahahahaha

    Re: Scratch'n in the Sandbox

    BenDaMan - 03.06.2005, 22:12

Lol, I'm pretty sure we will be friends, unless of course we start to piss each other off.

Wow, way to state the obvious...

Highest rank is Fleet Admiral, but the # of post required is classified.

(Hint: Lieutenant Commander Data probably has 6500 posts)

    Re: Scratch'n in the Sandbox

    BenDaMan - 03.06.2005, 22:16

Damn, even I won't be able to spam that much, that'll take me at least a month and a half :P

    Re: Scratch'n in the Sandbox

    Jenn - 03.06.2005, 22:22

well I guess I'll have to keep changing avy's to match my rank.
Nah, kinda like the naughty nurse.

    Re: Scratch'n in the Sandbox

    BenDaMan - 03.06.2005, 22:23

    Re: Scratch'n in the Sandbox

    BenDaMan - 06.06.2005, 02:16

    1 14-16 year old is hardly over-ridden

And there;s something worse then that anyway, a site full of people like TangelLace_

    Re: Scratch'n in the Sandbox

    Kiomi - 06.06.2005, 02:23

You actually can't find out the ages of people unless you ask them anyway.
    Same with gender. :-P

    TangledLace_ is 18.

    Re: Scratch'n in the Sandbox

    BenDaMan - 06.06.2005, 02:34

I know how old she is, I wasnt putting here in the 14-16 year old slot (it'd probably suit her better though...)

I was naming her because she is so mind numbingly annoying.

    Re: Scratch'n in the Sandbox

    ichabod00x - 06.06.2005, 11:14

This "TangledLace_ is really annoying" argument is getting as old as the "Get an avatar" argument on YT.

    Re: Scratch'n in the Sandbox

    BenDaMan - 06.06.2005, 17:36

Which is also getting about as annoying as you constantly bumping your threads on YT.

But the whol eTL thing isn't an argument, it's a fact, she's a tard.

BenDaMan wrote: Which is also getting about as annoying as you constantly bumping your threads on YT.

I bump because I'm collecting, or because I'm responding to a conversation that didn't quite get finished. I don't only bump my threads.

    Re: Scratch'n in the Sandbox

    d503 - 07.06.2005, 15:13

I don't really care about bumbing threads. I mean sometimes you are curious and want more from a conversation.

I get annoyed by the threads that are pointless. As in, I'm sad. Are you?

    Or talk to me.

sigh don't people know that is boring to read.

    Re: Scratch'n in the Sandbox

    Sander - 07.06.2005, 16:22

We, Sander, hereby declare that bumping threads in the Sandbox is in no way improper, and those practicing bumping should be treated with the same respect as any other human being.

Which, for some, isn't very much respect at all.

    ndl - 09.06.2005, 05:42

If you can bump uglies here, why not threads. :-P

    Re: Scratch'n in the Sandbox

I havnt seen anyone bump uglies here yet :P
