    From a Do-24 crashplace, Corsica
    Hello all,

we recently located a do-24 seaplane crashplace. the aircraft seems to have been shattered in pieces (and/or salvaged after the war). just out of curiosity, I would like to know if you know that piece... The 2nd pic is just for fun, as it seems to be a screw joint from the fuel tanks.

    Thank you for your interest.

    S.

    Hi WZI,
    welcome to the Board.

i dont know if this is relevant but i have found a German company who list an NW16 Argus in their products.
theirs is a "quick lock" connector for hydraulic systems

its just over half way down. Heading is "Kippanlage:"

    Hi,

Well done, that must be indeed a "Schnellverschlußsteckkupplung"... If you follow that link, you'll discover the "NW40" version...

I hesitate : does our piece come from the cockpit (cf. pic) or from the gas tanks? Or maybe another part of our plane?

BTW, thanks for your answer Roy.
