    Chara Bio, Dayilena Alkiren
    Name:: Dayilena Alkiren
    Position:: Novice
    Age:: 16
    Sex:: Female
    Origin:: Andoran
    Height:: 5’ 4’’
    Weight:: 123
    Hair:: Brown
    Eyes:: Dark
    Skin:: Pale

    Dayilena was born in Andor, Caemlyn, but never cared much for life in the city. Her mother had died when she was a born, and so it was her father that had raised her and her two siblings, a sister and a brother. Being the youngest and having had no mother figure whatsoever, she knew little about life outside the inn her father owned. She always got along better with her brother, two years older than she was, and his friends than with her sister or any of the people her father tried to make her establish a friendly relationship with. When she was 10, there was a riot at the inn that practically tore the place apart. Her father was severely injured in the leg, while she received a stab in the shoulder as she tried to help her brother and father protect the inn. She was not sure about many things that happened that night, but she was sure that the man that intervened two minutes too late to save the inn, was a Warder. And the woman with him, an Aes Sedai. After seeing the inn destroyed and her father hurt so that he would never again walk without limping, she knew that, had she had been an Aes Sedai, she would have been able to save both from disaster. When she was 14, after a strong fight with her sister, she stuffed some food in a bag and headed for Manetheren seeking to be trained as an Aes Sedai, planning to return to her family once she was able to give them a life like they used to know it.

    Days before her 15th birthday, months before she would arrive at Tar Valon, she asked for shelter from the rain at a modest but cozy house in a small town. The head of the family that had taken her in so kindly was, as she found out that same night, a swordsman. A master at the art of the sword. Dayilena was instantly appealed by what this man had to offer: an 8 month training which promised to make of the young girl a worthy opponent in exchange for house labor. She accepted more than willingly, knowing that by the time she arrived in the Tower, some requirements for being a swords master such as patience and determination would have to be a part of her character, which would make her training easier. Her bond with that man and his wife grew stronger than just the one of a guest and her hosts, but they became like her second family as well as two people that she truly came to admire. It wasn't only them two living in that modest farm, though. After about a year of living there she did not want to part. She had not given up on her dream of becoming a recognized channeler, but still she decided she better stay with the family until the farmer told her that her training was considered done. She wanted to be a blademaster. However, she knew that would take years, and decided to content herself with the credit that her master gave her as someone who could “be a neat opponent.”

    Six months passed. Dayilena now knew she could not leave this house, just like that. The girl was there, living with the two farmers like the daughter they could never have. They taught her so many things, and she knew in her heart she had taught them. And still she knew she had to leave. The road to Tar Valon was still a long and trying one, and if she wanted to get there before she was considered too old to enter, then she must depart. Finally, when the good-byes had been said, and the women had cried their tears, she took the horse that had been given to her, Eithel, and her multiple bags that contained food, new clothes, and a dagger for protection, and left. It took her a little over three months to get to Tar Valon. A few weeks before she was accepted into the White Tower. However, after almost 6 years of waiting, the eagerness to become an Aes Sedai boiled more and more with each passing day rather than decrease its intensity, and she would not give that up, no matter how hard training in the Tower turned out to be.

    well, done
    but one little flaw, you headed in the wrong direction, we're not in Tar Valon here, rather in the mountainrange(or somewhere around there) of old Manetheren :look
