I agreed with Nathaniel to put up a statement regarding the latest loose talk about him.
I got told about some messages on CC´s board regarding Nathaniel being a bad father. CC forwarded these messages to Nathaniel and that was actually one of the reasons why he took down his myspace profile.
Nathaniel:
"I am working on a new profile and it won´t be up until further notice. I´m also taking some time away from the gossip and bullshit - I need a quiet time for me."
You all know that I never talk about Nathaniel´s private life, although I would have a few things to tell. But his private life should stay PRIVATE and we all should respect this!
But after talking to him today we agreed that I should let you know that I only know him as a good father. I´ve seen him together with his son Griffin and I know from talking to his mom and sister that he does care about his children. I have also seen pictures of Nathaniel together with his children.
Nathaniel:
" Only one mother I have difficulty with. She has my oldest son. My other children love and visit me. I have a great relationship with their moms."
Whoever this person is who was talking bad about Nathaniel on CC´s board and whatever her intention is, please trust me when I tell you that Nathaniel is a loving father and that he does care. He is a nice guy and I can´t say ANYTHING bad about him. He is not perfect - so aren´t we - and therefore you shouldn´t judge or criticize him by something that was published on CC´s board. He does the best he can!
Nathaniel says "Hi" to his fans and he is grateful for your support!

His personal business is just that- personal!! Why would anyone want to spread rumors? It's beyond me. However, I do believe that some people have no "real" life involvment and take to the internet and become addicted to a "fantasy" life where they think all the things they read are real. To those people I say- TURN OFF YOUR COMPUTER AND GO OUTSIDE IN THE SUNSHINE!
And let people be people. Nathaniel obviously has an active life with his family, and maybe some people are jealous of his success. My opinion of him is not affected in anyway.

You don't need to apologize - I can ramble and vent too. I know first hand what it's like to have a member of my family made over course it went to his head. I didn't mind the compliments and such but he had to "act" on them. Saying it and acting on it is one thing - that is what I learned from being married to wrestling. The ones who wrestle are really actors/actresses too. I may gush from time to time but I'd never act on it. I know the hurt it causes. Course this may be way off the subject but was trying to give an example.

ok - let me tell you this:
When I first heard of Nathaniel I only "knew" him by his biography. It´s a good one and I thought "hey, this seems to be a nice guy - he went through some shit, but made his way out of it ...". Next biography I was reading was Sean Wei Mah´s and it sounded damn similar - I was reading a few more and they were basically all the same. Hey, they had the same management (had)! Now I was wondering who are the real persons behind those biographies and I was lucky to get in contact with Sean and Nathaniel. By that I learned a bit about them, but still not enough. Then I visited Nathaniel in Edmonton and our first meeting was strange and funny - lol. But I got the impression that he tried to keep up playing his role so hard. And I was right - each time we met he seemed to change a bit more and in the end he was just Nathaniel and I love him that way. Actors or any other celebrity do have to watch themselves so carefully! Once they are in public they need to be the person the managements made them to be and this can be hard. Nathaniel´s family and I met Nathaniel at a powwow and the girls were going crazy about him being there ... they were running after him and asked him for pictures and autographs. We didn´t get to talk to each other and even his son needed to step aside ... I remember that I was talking to Griffin about Germany and Nathaniel was standing right behind me. I turned around and asked him "so, when do we get to talk to each other?" He looked at me (without really seeing me), turned around and walked away! LOL I was asking his sister "Jess, what did I do wrong?" and she started laughing "he was now sick of this and just left ... that´s typical Nathaniel"
All the girls were telling him that he is such a wonderful, good looking and hot actor ... and for a while he enjoyed it. It´s not only the family that is suffering. He did too ... and of course his family didn´t get to talk to him. His granny was there and she didn´t get to see him ... there were just too many people and she is old and can´t walk that good anymore ... so she missed her grand-son.
To be popular is not always good and although Nathaniel likes to be "hot", he sometimes is sick of being in the spotlight.
We all should be careful with the things we say. I´ve never been the kind who is going crazy about a celebrity ... and "dirty talk" about them may help our minds to go crazy more easily - LOL - but in the end I don´t think that I would like someone talking about me that way ... there is nothing bad about talking of Michael in pink ... lol ... btw !!! I´m sure he would be laughing about it - I heard he has a great sense of humor - he wouldn´t take it serious ...

Oh - btw ... I´m sure some actors want us to talk about them, cause otherwise they wouldn´t get some certain pictures taken ... I mean, a good looking guy wearing no shirt just jeans can make a woman´s mind go crazy sometimes ... LOL ... I hope you all get what I´m trying to say!
btw Nathaniel´s bio is okay and he is a real nice guy - TRUST ME !!! I wouldn´t be looking forward meeting him again, if he would be a jerk! And I´m REALLY looking forward meeting with this "crazy" guy again!

You are so right Anne. That is why I really get aggreviated when people start in on their personal lives and start spreading rumors etc. They have every right to a personal life - everyone who is in the "lime light" has that right. If they want to tell us something then that is fine - if not - that's fine too.
That is why I have more respect for Native American Actors and Actresses - because they seem to able to maintain a personal life away from it all. And more important they seem to appreciate their fans more.
Maybe wrestling is different, because of all the story lines and plots etc. One has to play the part - but once you're out of the ring - it should be different.
I sure hope I'm making sense.

Hey Anne - thanks so much for sharing that story with us. Yeah I fully understand about the "public" person and the "private" person and I respect that - in the entertainment industry, unfortunately it's needed.
It's a shame about the behaviour of the girls at the Powwow - it's a time to show respect - not treat a person like a piece of meat. I have read similar stories about Eddie/Michael at various Powwows. I agree that to a certain extent actors, and the like, need to be "open" to fans who want their photos & autographs but there is always a time and place for that. And fans need to realize that at some point it's not appropriate.
I agree that NA actors/actresses seem more grounded, but that brings me to something Wes Studi mentions in the Hatch video about going back to the reservation and they are instantly reminded of who they are and where they came from, any ego is deflated. Which, when I think about, is probably the reason why they seem so much more grounded.
What's been bugging me lately is the continuous "omg he's so hot" comments and such. I'm sure they do get tired of it, as you said, sure it's nice to be "hot" but there comes a point when I wonder if the actors question the sincerity of the fans. It's kind of like their acting is secondary to their looks - which makes me kind of sick - for me it's all about their on screen ability, their acting first and foremost.
And yeah I find here we jest about Michael and some others but we keep it in check.

That is just pathetic, but I have heard of it too. Very childish. Fair weather fans, I call them - once I start liking an actor/actress I stick with them (as there are only a few who I really follow) through thick & thin (unless it's something really bad that they've done).

i even went into an argument which ended into a fight.
me & my best friend were Fans of the BSB ,both liked Brian the most.
1 day we heard that he was engaged to his girlfriend (already had an arguement when we found out about his g-friend :? )
i was SOO HAPPY ,the guy had bene through enough in his life ,he deserved some happyness.
wel my best friend didn't think the same way ,she went balistic.
i didn't talk to her for days & if she hadn't come to my house & told me that she was acting so selfish ,i still wouldn't have talked to her
yeah ,in those times ,when i was angry ,i stayed it as long as it needed for them to see it my way (which not always was the rigth way :P ,but in thsi case was) :lol:

It´s not like that it general - we shouldn´t make them heros they are not !!! It´s true that most of the NA actors do remember where they do come from, but there are also some actors who became jerks ... don´t get me wrong, but that´s just human nature and they are human beings. It may be founded in their social structure that they still remember or maybe it´s just the fact that they are no "real stars" (compared with Brad Bitt and some others). There are also "other" actors who remember where they came from and honor what they´ve achieved.

in every culture
it just Seems that the NA actors/actresses are mroe down to earth
but like you said ,it coudl eb ,because they are not "stars" like Brad Pitt (Yuck :roll: )
PS: someone is not a hero in my eyes for staying themselfs
it only gives them some more respect :D

I've never been a fan of either Tom Cruise or Brad Pitt (although I did like him in Troy and a couple of other movies). I'm more of a fan of films than the actual actors who star in them.
Having said that, I'm not a fan of many musical artists either. I either like a song or I don't, so I guess I'm not too loyal in that regard *lol*

The baby boy´s name of my daughter´s teacher, who is helping Milena with her dyslexia, is Nathaniel, but we do say it in another way. Of course my daughter was telling her teacher that "mom is friends with a famous actor called Nathaniel" ! LOL
