I wish I could switch my background without having Keri to do it. I've got quite a few photos that would be beautiful backgrounds.
Got into Keri's photos she's taken so far from Hawaii and there are some georgous ones.

she's still there - been there since the 15th and will return on the 1st. She has already informed me they are going back there next year but only for a week. The first time they went was for 3 weeks (keri did not go) the second time for 2 weeks (she went) and next year for 1.

she called me around 9:30 am our time (3:30 a.m.) their time and said they were getting ready to leave for another island and would take them 50 minutes flight time. I told her to either call me or send me a text message once they arrived. I hope they have a safe flight.

I have a few more - just heard from her and from her ton I don't think she's to amoured with Honolulu unless she's just real tired she has not had much sleep in the last 24 hours because of having to be at the airport at 3:30 a.m. She said it was really built up.

those are beautiful and New Zeland is on my list of places to visit. You like to take nature photos too. Some laugh at me when I go anywhere because I'm always taking photos of scenery. I've some beautiful ones from Cocoa Cay Bahamas. Going to check and see if Keri sent me any more from Hawaii.

That is strange to me - I can't imagine why anybody wouldn't want to take pictures of natural landscapes! It's a hobby of mine. Anyway, nothing looks better in photos than the natural wonders of mother earth. I always think that architecture looks so dull and boring by comparison!

You really should, Mela! My soul felt very much at peace there, and I consider it my spiritual homeland now. Did it remind you of Sweden at all? Because I have heard many people talk about how beautiful Scandanavia is. I really hope to get there someday myself...

it is and those are orange towels. The shower curtain needs smaller loops to be put up. She has a skylight in her bathroom and with those colors there is no need for the light.

well Keri went to the bathroom to see what was what and she was ok with it. Talked to mom a short while ago and she said Keri was still in bed. She spent from 2 p.m. to 7 pm at Deanne's yesterday so it's catching up with her - time wise. She goes back to work tomorrow.

I hear you !!! Jetlag was terrible for me when I came back from Canada. The first night back home wasn´t too bad, but then the next day! My daughter Milena woke me up telling me that Emma had turned on the stove in the kitchen ... I was sooooooooooooooooooo damn tired! It took me a few days to get back to normal.

*lol* Well, being a bit of a traveller, and living so far away from the rest of the world, I am well accustomed to this! I find it hard to sleep on planes, but I force myself to stay awake until the evening of whatever country I'm in, and then go to bed. I did this coming back from Europe last year and I felt fine. Hopefully I have the same experience in September! *lol*

I didn't even make it through the 1st 15 minutes of the second movie. Keri got the DVD's at home and she was watching one of them....I guess it's the "age" thing - but then look at us with Lord of the Rings.

I may tried to read one of the Keri has. I know I read the LOTR's books before each movie and boy were they good then seeing the movies - those were good but they left a lot of stuff out.

Thanx girls!! I am a bit sad today because of it. It feels that nobody likes me. :( To share me up I bought 2 DVD´s at the store this evning.
It was 2 for almost the same prce as one. Only about 12 Euro for both. :)

Mela- we have "model" behaivor on this board. We don't judge on looks- that's for immature, irrational, ignorant, self-centerd people who if they looked so good- why are they looking for friends online? Maybe she looks pretty, but her attitude and behaivor is so ugly she cannot get real friends.

What am I doing wrong. When I edit them for e-mail size and I click ok but for some strange reason they don't resize. Maybe I'm just not doing it right. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

email size may not be small enough ... I have IrfanView for my pics. I can load them up and do whatever changes and then save them again.

I remember last night and believe me Pathfinder is not something you want to eat and watch. I didn't finish the soup - my stomach started feeling funny so I ate a few peanut butter and crackers and drank some ginger ale. I don't think I'm totally up to scratch yet. Talked to my doctor and he said that if I didn't improve to head for the hospital. And I've an appointment Monday to see him. He said I could have that virsus that is going around and there is not much he could do for it unless I started tossing again and couldn't keep anything down. So far so good (tossing wise) but I need to only eat bland food like toast, potatoes, crackers - he doesn't want me to eat any fiber for the time being and nothing with spice. He is going to do some sort of scope on my thoat and ephogius (sorry can't spell it) to make sure everything looks fine. See his office is at the hospital I have to go to so if I end up there he'll be close by. I can't eat anything after midnight on Sunday because he wants everything digested - I guess he wants to make sure no ulcers are around that could be causing some of my discomfort. If I do have that virsus then it's the mildest case anyones see of it. He told me not to force myself to be sick but just let it happen. I should really loose some weight but I have to keep myself hydrated. Got some of those crystal lite mixes to mix in my water bottles.

That´s what I thought. You should stay on a diet for a few days. I remember that when my kids do have this I only give them salty brezels, toasted toast, bananas and yoghurt for a few days. They don´t like to eat that stuff once they do feel better, but then it´s still to early to give them regular food. They love to eat the banana in their yoghurt mixed with oatmeal and a little bit of cinnamon. That´s good food for a sick stomach. Peanut butter and crackers are poison for you now ...

NO BUTTER !!! :) I have no idea about how ginger ale affects your stomach, but we use to drink coke when we have problems like this ... even the doctor allows us to do so ... ginger ale? I really don´t know, but can imagine that it may be the same.
I went to bed early last night - felt like I needed to catch up with some sleep - lol - just got up at 10 am and now I have another hour to get ready to go and see my doctor! I have an appointment at 11:15, but sure will have to wait a bit again. So I´ll go and see if I can get my needle at my gyn´s and get Milena some more canvas (what´s the plural for this word :? ) for her paintings. They have a special offer in town and so I promised to get her some - and of course Emma wanted to have some as well. I do support their artistic skills as good as possible ... lol
After my doctor´s appointment I´ll go to our home improvement store and try to get me one of those nice chairs they had a special offer for ... but I doubt they will still have some. We´ll see ...
Sounds like a busy day after all these lazy days - lol

Ginger Ale is like Sprite, 7-Up, Sierra Mist it's a colorless drink and very good for stomach upsets - it apparently helps calm ones stomach down.
I am feeling a little better today - almost was late for work - laid down watching TV and the next thing I knew it was 6:30 this am. :shock: Normally I get up at 5. I had forgot to set my alarm. I'm surprised my mom didn't come in and turn the TV off and say something to me.
It does help to go to bed early because your body needs it's rest. I know the nights I've gone to bed before 11 I have got up the next morning feeling refreshed to some degree.
I hope your drs. appointment goes well. I'm dreading mine next Monday.
Have been rearranging things today at work. Didn't have time to collect any movies to bring in and watch but I do have some books I can read.
Will be on and off today.

I know what you mean - course normally my internal clock wakes up at 5 or the pooches get me up but this am...well.....nothing. But that is a sign too that my body needs it's rest and I should obey those signs.
I hate having to go into work tonight - I'll leave here and go straight to JCP and get off after nine :evil: I just hope I'm busy...but I doubt it.

anyway, my doctor wants to do some additional tests, cause I´m still kind of dizzy - especially this morning! He also gave me an injection that should help me to relax - especially to relax my muscles in general and in my neck !!! He agreed with me that the pain in my ears is from my neck and he told me to watch a few things to help him with the diagnosis. Need to go there again on Friday ... he is not very happy that it takes me that long to recover.

Hey let him be unhappy - it's your body - some take longer to heal. My doctor will put me through a series of tests next week - probably some unnecessary ones but he is so thorough.
Did he give you cortozone shot by chance? That is a good drug that helps with the pain and will make you relax.
Well 4 of my new students came in today. 3 from China and 1 from India. They all seem pleasent enough. Gosh I wish I could just go home and didn't have to work tonight.

Of course, I let him be unhappy - that´s good for me, because he really wants to find out what´s wrong with me or at least won´t send me back to work before I`m really recovered!
I have no idea what kind of shot he gave me, but it made me feel sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good for the rest of the day - lol. I was telling two friends of mine last night (one is a nurse and the other one is working in a doctor´s office) and they both were just grinning - lol - I have no idea why. As long as it helped me and he didn´t mention that I´m not allowed to drive or do anything else, I think it was "good medicine".

Sounds like good medicine. It might have been cortozne - that stuff takes away the pain altogether.
I know your dr. wants to find out why you are having these problems and he will -

My mum's healthy finally but I think I'm going ill. I started caughing this morning and couldn't stop. I thought I was going to die, because I couldn't breath anymore. Now my chest hurts and I'm kinda dizzy, but that didn't stop me from writing a few more pages for my stories :wink:

I wish all of mine was weather related but me and Linda's sinsus are starting to bother us as is Keri's - she coughed and coughed last night when she got home. And I believe the weather is what is giving me headaches - because it's so hot and humid - going from a/c to none and so dusty - it just hangs in the air. I've to be in at JCP at 6 a.m. tomorrow but work till 2. I will be hitting the sheets early tonight.
Think me and Linda are going to leave out early today from here - maybe around 3 or 3:30 provided the Dean is gone the rest of the day :?
Linda was teasing me about coming in with a big old arm sling on my arm come Tuesday. I'm hoping for a cortozone shot myself - maybe a few of them - one in the arm and one in the shoulder.

nope and with the air quality is not good and the mold and spores are out - anyone who has any sort of sinsus or allergy problems suffers heavily. That is why I'm going to the doctor Monday for my arm - he'll most likely renew my allergy stuff since the weather is like it is now.

my middel finger on my left hand hurts everytime it gets cold. I broke it about 5 years ago playing football :? I let it fester for about 5 hours before going to the hosptial. Now the next year when I got my right middle finger and ring finger caught in the garage door - I went immedately. Boy work was laughing their heads off however I didn't have to be off with my right hand because I could still use some of my fingers but I was in a cast to my elbow with my left middle finger. The doc said if they had to operate on it it would not bend - what a conversation piece you know.

Well hopefully I won't break any more.
Haven't been up too long. Came home, gave Snoopy a bath laid down and fell asleep. I feel somewhat better but my arm and shoulder really hurt today. Let my computer on all night and had to turn it off after I tried unsuccessfully to log on. so I took a bath and feel a lot better but still feel drained. I've obeyed my body today and am resting.
It's so hot here and the heat index is to get up to 110 possibly tomorrow. I know that is what is keeping me drained running in and out of it. But at least no headaches.

Yes and we even had some rain/storms last night but I didn't know it. Course the amount of Cherry's on our cars this am was proof enough. I went and got my car washed when I got up because it was a mess. I guess I'll have to wash off the drive way eventually. It is so miserable outside so I think I'm just going to hang inside and get some work done.

When I got up to let the dogs out this am - I got hit in the face with very warm temps and that was at 5 this morning.
Would you believe I colored my roots - normally I do not do that in the morning but since I have no idea what will transpire with my arm at the doctors - I thought I'd better go on and do it because he could say "no use".

He wants the inflamation to go down then they'll do an M.R.I. and go from there. They rearranged my chair and keyboard set up here at work...which has helped somewhat. I've not taken my meds today as they make me sick and I've a call into the doctor about that.

Well still nothing from the doctor that is - I've not taken the meds today and my thought pattern is not so dark.
I did get a call from a childhood friend of mine. She was wanting to let me know her mother was taken to Sts. Mary's early this am...so I will run by and check on her. She lives in Tennessee and we don't get to see each other often. Too she taches and her son is registering for school and with it starting it's difficult for her to get up here today. The hospital is right on the way home.
Mom Shirley (as we all call her) has been battling emphezima for years and she's had so much heartach from her son that I'm surprised she's still around.
I hope I make it home before frying alive in my car.

Well I'm home - got a bite to eat and am ready to drop - so it's early to bed tonight. Mom Shirley is looking real bad - she's on oxygen and she has pneumonia. She is nothing but skin and bones but seemed happy to see me. Her daughter Shirley lives in Tennessee and Sherri lives in Bloomington, IN....both could not get there today. Her son Bob is in jail (long storey)
Keri is already for school. She got some pants and bras (like the girl needs any more) shoot i think she's got one for every day of the week.
As far as undies go she could go 3 weeks and not have to wash any.

Well another day and a hot one. I'll be so glad when this weather breaks.
Mom Shirley may get to go home on Friday but don't know yet. Shirley and Sherri both will be there this weekend...so it will be good to see them. I'll keep you posted but it's almost as if Mom Shirley has lost the will to live so to speak. She's on oxygen, and has to use a wheelchair. She's gone down so fast these last several years.

well we've been under the gun all morning with showers - some areas are getting hit hard (like here at work) other's are just getting medium rain (like where I live) I've got my space heater on because of how cold it is - I mean ice cycles are hanging off my nose.
