    man kann sich auf der homepage von jin jin (band wo sebastian sturm auch war/ist?) alle drei alben kostenlos downloaden. jin jin-jin jin, jin jin- burgen connection, jin jin- ja sicher! ich glaube die seite heißt dann auch www.jinjin.de oder ähnlich. zu empfehlen ist vor allem der song kiffers potpouri, wo police in helicopter u pass the dutchie auf deutsch gesungen werden

    Auf http://mixtapeguerilla.blogspot.com findet ihr interessante Infos zu den Artists aus meiner Radioshow, Schwerpunkt liegt hier natürlich weniger auf den "üblichen Verdächtigen" wie Anthony B,Sizzla oder Bounty Killer, sondern mehr auf den "upcoming artists", über die ansonsten weniger berichtet wird.

    also mir gefällt der dancehall mix bis jetzt sehr gut, vlt, kannst du mir ja sagen wie der riddim ab minute 9 heisst :-D der is wirklich krank, und sonst muss ich so lange suchen und ich möchte eigentlich den mix weiter hören ;-)

    was mir auch gefällt ist, dass du die übergänge nicht einfach mit effekten zukleisterst und es sich trotzdem extrem sauber anhört.

    wie nimmst du auf, mixt du mit vinyl? und wenn ja, wie schaffst du es dass jeder riddim gleich laut ist? wenn ich was aufnehme höhrt man einfach sofort den unterschied der verschiedenen labels. ich weis zwar ungefähr welcher lauter und leiser is, aber da ich immer mit unterschiedlichen einstellungen auflege, bringts das auch nich wirklich 100%. vlt sollte ich auch einfach mehr darauf achten ;-)

    und wo kriegst du die tunes her? hab schon n paar gehört die ich einfach nirgends finde.

    edit: nach dem durchhören: was mir nicht so gefallen hat sind die zum teil extrem hochgepitchten tunes, von da her nehm ich auch an dass du mit cd´s auflegst.

    alles in allem aber wirklich fett.

    Brimstone and Fire - Schau nach Vorn EP (01.11.2008)
    Viele Leute dürften Brimstone and Fire schon auf dem ein oder anderen Festival oder bei diversen anderen Liveauftritten wahrgenommen haben. Sehr oft wurde die Frage laut, wann es denn endlich einen Tonträger zu erwerben gibt. Jetzt steht es endlich fest. Am 1. November wird es die erste richtig offizielle EP von Brimstone and Fire als Free Download auf Reggae-Town.de geben.

    Endlich ist es also offiziell. Heute werden wir auf Reggae-Town.de die erste EP von Brimstone and Fire veröffentlichen. Bisher gab es nur ihren Beitrag auf dem Reggae-Town Sampler, den Tune "Polizei" auf dem King Orle Sampler und vor inzwischen mehr als zwei Jahren eine klein aufgelegte EP, die auf Festivals verteilt wurde. Höchste Zeit also, dass es mehr Musik von Rawlph Dread und Mr. Manytoo gibt.

    Auf der jetzt kommenden EP wird es einen Riddim von Urban Tribe, den King Orle Riddim ("Polizei") und Produktionen von Rawlph Dread selbst zu hören geben. Erwarten kann man circa fünf Tunes.

    Zeit für die Number One Vocal Group aus Deutschland! =)

    Na klar, gibt's die, aber leider hab' ich die verlegt, wenn ich die finde werde ich sie nachreichen, oder ich werde mir das ganze nochmal anhören und die
    Titel raussuchen. Allerding hat mein PC eine Taste womit ich alles was ich gedownloadet habe, wieder löschen kann,wenn mir das nicht gefällt. Ich glaube, die neuen PC's haben alle sowas, bin mir aber nicht ganz sicher.Und ausserdem sind Überraschungen nicht nur was für Weihnachten.

    Hab hier ne Reggae Arena Radio Sendung wieder entdeckt die wir zum Tod von Mikey Dread gespielt haben. Und zwar ist es ein Zusammenschnitt von mehreren Dread at the Controll Sendungen von 1978.
    George Ovationz Hunter hat mir mal erzählt, das Mikey da seine Sendung in der Nacht von SA.auf So. kam, weitgehend auf Wortbeiträge verzichtet hat und die durch seine (die besten) Jingles ersetzt hat. Für mich muss Radio genausooo klingen. Respekt Mikey Dread! In Nottingham gibts ne Radio Sendung von DJ Pauze, Unique FM die dem schon sehr nahe kommt.

    ich hab mich mal schnell durchgespult u die ersten 11 min dachte ich, du wärst lahm geworden, aber dann kehrst du zu gewohnter klasse zurück ;)
    dickes ding big up
    saubere übergänge u vorallem viele tunes... es gibt nichts schlimmeres, als nen dancehall tune zu lange abzududeln ()
    mal wieder perfekt meinen geschmack getroffen u das schaffen nicht viele :D !!! der mix wird in der nächsten zeit öfter laufen, versprochen!

    @dope: freut mich das der mix gefällt! ich such von lcr noch ein bißchen mehr raus, hat einige mixe online... leider immer ohne mc, obwohl vielleicht finde ich irgendwie live-sets von unserer crew... mcs haben wir genug thup
    ich mag keine mcs bei ragga-jungle u dubwize kram, aber je härter der sound, umso lieber nen mc ;)

It’s less of an album or cohesive set of work and more like a quick snapshot of several great bands who make something that falls under the umbrella term of reggae. “Be Free” from Spread the Dub, jumps and skanks with group chants and rude boy charm while “Mellow Memories” from Stampede Movement hits a doo wop stride and “Cuanto (Tiempo Mas)” from Mixed Culture throws the mix a Latin twist.”
