Having a long and very impressive musical career already behind him, Chacha is often referred to as "the big brother" (or sometimes "big sister", for his fairly feminine looks) of GacktJOB.
He has got a hypnotic, wispy voice and amazing skills as a guitar player. He has alco composed very much, you can visit the websites of Gerard and VIENNA to see that he f.ex. composed the majority of VIENNA's songs and also wrote lyrics to them. In Japan he is called "The legendary guitarist of Kansai" and is a very highly respected musician.
Chachamaru started his musical career in his early teens (he was already in the business at the age of 13), and is still going very strong. Being one of the living legends of the japanese progressive-scene and one of the most respected guitarists, he is also a well-known producer and despite producing Gackt, he also has worked with (for example) the legendary X Japan, helping to write, play and produce within their album BLUE BLOOD back in 1989.
After the disbanding of X Japan he also helped his friend Toshi with his solo career as a guitarist, composer and producer.
In the late 90's he was asked to help out a new rising talent in the rows of Nippon Crown. This artist of course being Gackt.
Since then, Chachamaru has been Gackt's close friend and producer, not forgetting his important role as bandleader, lead guitarist and backing vocalist of GacktJOB.
Other members describe Chachamaru to be elegant and loyable, extremely talented, friendly and very hard-working.
Random facts: Chachamaru is very fond of the colour pink and is terribly afraid of heights. He has also worked as a teacher at a Buddhist college.
He has said that his hobbies are drinking, walking and shopping. Chachamaru wears glasses when reading and easily forgets the time when working, has to be reminded of eating and quitting the practise. He calls Gackt "Pupu".
