I every year drive to Italy ( Caorle ) in my Holidays, and now i want to show you what they have found there in the Adria. There is a B24 "MG Stand" ... i dont know the english word :) and a "Propeller"

do you know anything about the plane they came from?
the "MG mount" is called a " gun Turret" in English

i dont know nothing about the plane, but i think it was on the way home from bombing austria. in my book i have a B24 lost in the Adria near Caorle, he comes from bombing "Wiener Neustadt" and was lost in the Adria. it can be the maschinenumber: 42-52280 Type: B24H Pilot: 2Lt. John Brasher Crashdate: 24.5.44 ... but it´s not 100% !!

you muxt check the guns next time. they will have serial numbers. these will be recorded in the MACR report. if you want to make sure it was that plane these numbers will tell you

ok i will look for numbers, but the problem is .. carole is in italy and i live in austria :) and the italian "mafia-man´s" allways look´s angry when i make pictures of theyr gun´s :D
