do you think it's possible to be skinhead and none political. i don't think so because i think to be against something so strong like skinheads is already political. you always hear that skinheads in the past never have been right wing but...i did't meet much old skinheads wich are leftwing...o.k. some don't care about politics and it's ok but deep inside you must have an opinion about that.... or not? :shock:

if you are skinhead.. its because you are trying to show to other people something wrong in this society , thats the reason we have diferent style , we cut our hair in that way etc etc... so if you are not happy with this society and you want to change it...the way in that you make it.... that is political.
If you are skinhead only for music .... a lot of oi bands , are talking about working class problems , that is political.
The whole people in this world have a political tendency, another thing is not to want to admit it, to live comfortably without so much problems.

Sure i can understand that some folk don't want to be associated with politics, but the average newspaper reader thinks that a shaved head and a pair of boots makes you a nazi and after several years of aggravation from muds and reds they will come our way.
It's skinhead revisionists, like Roddy from The Oppressed and your average SHARP bonehead that trys to rewrite skinhead history, i've met old skinheads that went out paki bashing in the 70's and the first ever written account of skinheads is repeated in George Marshalls (He was VERY leftwing too) "Spirit of 69" book about Millwall skinheads shouting "Enoch Powell", who was an English politician who opposed coloured immigration into the U.K.! Sure they listened to skinhead reggae but just because a you're a psychobilly doesn't mean you have to listen to fucking Elvis!!! BAH! :x

you dont have to be beautiful to be intelligent, and you dont have to be intelligent to be beautiful either. intelligence and beauty are two different things, but for myself i have no problem to combine them.
you dont have to be n.s. to be a skinhead and you dont have to be a skinhead to be n.s. either. skinhead and n.s. are actually two different things, but for myself i have no problem to combine it!
but i think its impossible to be apolitical.

everything is politics in one way or the other....i don't want to force my opinion up to someone but i really hope that all people will open their eyes and see what is happening in the world today!!!

Everyone on this planet has to do with politics. So also a skinhead cannot be apolitical.
I can understand that some skins call themselves apolitical cause they want to show that they didnt become skinheads for politic reasons, but most of the skins that refer to themselves as non-political are actually lefties that are afraid to stand up for their true believes...
