And they are not in a bad condition at all.

Yes, it is the guy who records the videos from TV but he sure did a great job - after all, the sound is what is most important.

These clips are mostly from Germany in 1979, some of them you have already seen in other topics so I won't be attaching them.

All these fuzzy videos do is make me wish I was there to see it LIVE and hear it LIVE. It's no fun to watch what I can't see and hear clearly. :sob:

Wow, this footage is really great.

There are just two things that really annoy me when I listen to these "unmixed" recordings:
Agnetha's voice is barely audible on songs with shared lead-vocals. Frida's voice is always so powerful while Agnetha's gets somehow lost in the mix.
The second thing I never got is why they chose Tomas Ledin as abacking-vocalist. He is a great singer, no doubt, but his voice is to prominent and it doesn't fit. Backing singers should back up the main-singer and it is really strange if two girls are supported by a male voice.

These clips would have been my first return post. :-)
And don't forget about the "I'm Still Alive" footage at http://www.ABBAinter.net (sound is from Paris I think)
Anyway quite a lot of the Dortmund concert to enjoy.

The Waterloo clip might be from Toronto. It's almost invisible, but to me it seems that Benny is wearing a Maple Leafs shirt. For quick access I'll add the link here since it's from the same user.

Yes, the Vienna concert is one of the best recordings and it's fun to hear some Austrian people in the audience. :-)

I still can't accept I hadn't been to their 1979 concert. A weak spot between my parents and me and I sometimes think that I try to compensate this by my even growing interest today...
