laut Internet (kann man ja schließlich nicht alles wissen): 6 Stunden Zeitunterschied.
Beim Start um 5 pm hieße das 23 Uhr unserer Zeit.

The European Zone representative, which will play Bay City in tonight's CWS opener, qualified by winning a tournament in Germany.
Manager Georg Bull's team prepared for this event by participating in a tournament in the Dominican Republic during Easter vacation.
Infielder Julius Uelschen, 15, may be this team's best hitter. At the European Cup, he won the Cadet category home run trophy.
Shortstop Fred Kraft, second baseman Aljoscha Heller and catcher Christopher Howard are Germany's other strong players.
"The pitching is a little bit of a problem," Bull said. "But this is a great experience for us to come here to the homeland of baseball and see what we can do.
"A problem we have in Europe is that the dads don't throw the ball with you when you are small. Really, organized baseball doesn't start in Europe until 10."
Bull will try to make do with pitchers Daniel Rahn, a tall left-hander, and Bene Antwi.

Überragender 3:2 Sieg über Bay-City. Von unseren Jungs hat zwar keiner gespielt, war aber n geiles Spiel! :)

Leider 12:0 verloren gegen Tampa. Jan war zweiter Pitcher, doch die Gegner waren einfach nicht aufzuhalten und haben so gut wie auf jeden Ball gehauen. Aber selbst die Moderatoren sagten, dass sie sich gut geschlagen haben und dass sie wenn sie Sonntag gewinnen, immer noch die Möglichkeit haben ins Halbfinale zu kommen!!
