You could speculate about possible additional reasons because of the recording technique (1975, live, outdoor). Well, I don't want to actually, because it surely isn't her best vocal performance, a bit too shy. But (after listening to it about 30 times :lol: ) I also think it isn't that bad either and it still is (one of) my favourite Agnetha performances because of her charming way that day.

As Bonnie pointed out, I would have no need to say such thing about Frida, although she does something else that bothers me when singing live but this is not the topic in which I want to discuss it (off-topic).
So again. why would I need to be moderated if someone had said that about Frida? I had said lots about Frida that in my opinion needed serious moderation but nothing ever happened! :rotfl:

OMG, I need to come to the defense of the great lady of music. Agnetha is perfectly charming throughout the entire song, and nothing can beat the great smile at the end. This is a visual as well as an auditory performance. :applause: With all the facial closeups, I can feel her emotions as she sings to the audience and the camera, and I can almost taste their pleasure. :love4:

Singing at an outdoor event must be difficult because she can't hear herself, i.e. the acoustics are poor, and all the sound escapes. At concerts, we often see Agnetha put her finger over her ear so she can hear herself over the crowd. :shock: Fionally, we don't know how much time there was to rehearse for this performance.

Yes, she's a little off key at times and at 2:09, she's way sharp, but she covers it with a vocal trill to a lower note. Two seconds later her voice shakes; probably because she was still thinking about the previous incident. That's OK baby, I forgive you. :kiss:

Wow, it's unbelievable. I was so busy with my final exams that I didn't read this topic until two minutes ago.

THIS IS SO AWESOME! I've never dreamed of watching this performance in full. Agnetha is so lovely, what a cute and wonderful performance.

But Bonnie is right, she's off-key every now and then. I'm sure Agnetha had profited a lot from a nice modern technique like in-ear-monitors. We all know she had problems hearing herself and I could imagine that in an outside-venue with a band behind you it is difficult to hear yourself. But of course in 1975 in-ear-monitors were not available yet.

So, enough for now, I have to re-watch that performance again, it's so cute and great and awesome and...wow :P
