Michael Tretow
Hello all,

Before ABBA, Agnetha already worked with Michael B. Tretow as a sound engineer. After ABBA she worked with him again on her best selling album 'Wrap your arms around me' During the first recordingsessions for what was to be 'My Colouring Book' Michael was working with Agnetha again. Personally I was very excited about this new collaboration. Unfortunately it was cut short due to Michael having a stroke.

Does anybody know how Micheal is doing these days? Will he be able to work with Agnetha again if (or should I say when?) she starts recording her newly written, selfcomposed material again? Or is he out of the picture for ever? Does anybody have an idea??

I don't know how his health looks like but since we haven't received any news that tell us he is seriously ill, I guess he would be available for another project with Agnetha.
The bigger "problem" is Agnetha herself, it is her who must take the first steps, she's the one to chose or maybe even write songs.
However I hope we get anther Fältskog/Tretow album since he got her voice best which is easy to hear when comparing the tracks from Eyes Of A Woman he engineered and those which were engineered by others.

Well I for one hope so.

Agnetha and Mick Tretow would be good. He understands her vocal range so well.

Lets hope sometime in the future we might see them working together again.
It would be great.

It does make sense that he would be the perfect person to produce Agnetha again as he seems to know her vocal ability so well.

Wasn't it Micke who said Agnetha could 'cry with her voice'? A more perfect description would be hard to find.

I think it was him, but I'm not quite sure though. Anyway I agree with the person who said that... :D

Sadly no info about how he is doing these days but it would be great to get him working with Agnetha again. He did a great job on ABBA's and Agnetha's records!
