Is anyone going to see the ABBA tribute band in July in Milwaukee Wi?

Of all the members of this forum, I may be the one who is the shortest distance from Milwaukee (it would take about an hour to drive there from where I live), but I'm afraid I won't be there.

I hope you have a great time.

I've seen two ABBA tribute acts. One was the American version of Björn Again. (BA started out as an ABBA tribute group and is now an organization that has various versions of Björn Again on several continents.) I don't think their show was very much like a real ABBA concert, but it was great to hear ABBA music performed live and reasonably faithfully.

I've also seen Adbacadabra. Their show is (I can only suspect) a little bit more like a real ABBA concert, but of course it could never be exactly the same. They're very nice and a lot of fun, though. During the encore, Dancing Queen, "Frida" gave me a little mirror ball! She was so sweet.

Hi every one, I e-mailed Vicky who is one of the members of the Swedish
Band Arrival. She was very kind and e-mailed me right away yesterday 6/12/07. I ask her about their tour Dates in the US, the groups tour dates shoud have ben posted at the end of May but as of june,10,07 no dates. They are up on there website now as of 6/13/07. I have had my tickets for a month now to see them at The Music Circus 7/20/07 in Mass, but iamthedancingqueen will see them first, three shows 7/6,7,8,/07 at The Northern Lights Theater, Potawatomi Casino, Milwaukee Wi... Now that the tour dats are up for US they will be coming to Ct. Mohegan Suns Casino, 7/13/07 and I think I will be there. This is their first US major tour, it runs from June 23rd through July28th they have taken over the tour from Waterloo the other Swedish group, Arrival tour is called, ABBA The Tour and when Waterloo tours the US its called ABBAthe Music. Zeebee if you have a chance to see them I think you should, I saw Waterloo last year and the show was great and from what I have heared, Arrival is as good or better, so you should not miss them. I hope Johnny will go see Waterloo when they come to Germany with ABBA THE Show. sarahkjrsten Arrival will be doing a concert 6/15/07 at the Festival Gothenburg, and both groups play Swedan and have their schedules up for their tour, to read more about both groups go too -------------------------------------------

Hi every one, Friday the 13th I will be going to see Arrival at the Moghen Sun, they have ask me to come back stage after the show to meet everyone, I will bring a camer with me to take picturs and I will tell all about my experience.

Hi every one, I had a grate time on the 13th of July. Arrival puts on a great show, they brought me right out of my seat, by the time the concert was over I was horse. Got to meet five members of the group after the show and will have pictures after they are developed. Talk soon Ross

~~~UPDATE 7/26/07~~~
Arrival had at both of the concerts at Mohegan Sun and The Music Circus had the audience out of their seats clapping along with every song they did of ABBA's. Jenny the blond had Agnetha's voice down pat and Vicky sings with a style that Frida would be proud of. Both of the girls have beautiful voices. I couldn't take pictures at the Sun concert but I did take pictures back stage with Vicky and Jenny and The Circus let people take pictures at the concert and after the concert. Every one of the members of Arrivah are so friendly and so where Finn Sjoberg and Roger Palm from the original ABBA band. I tell you all, when I left both concerts I was exhausted and my hands hurt from clapping
so loud and my voice was horse. I printed out a picture of the four off their web-site and eight band members out of twelve sing the picture. The Circus was selling T-Shirt of the US tour as everyone can see, I had too have one. I had such a grate time and can't wait for next year, I hope everyone enjoys the pictures as much as I did taking them Ross

Thanks Johnny, I ask for a photo pass from The Music Circus if I get that I will be able to take pictures durning the concert, if not I will only have pictures after the concert with them in their street clothes just like the last concert I went too.
