I have just read how to size your Crosshair size:

18 i sprobably default. tip from me= Dont overact, the Crosshair can disappear :P

if you wanna play often with this its useful to make binds like :
bind f8 hash r_fullbright <>
bind f9 hash r_fullbright 0
