I don't usually socialize with strangers much, but hey, it's nice to see there are lots of other people out there who share the same interests as you do...big world, eh?
People call me Tobey, if you're more comfortable with calling me by my username, you're free to do so, although it's kinda creepy if you call somebody QuestionReality in real life--so I prefer Tobey.
Items that may be of interest:
- My all-time favorite Poe story--besides "The Black Cat" and "The Tell-Tale Heart"--is "Mesmeric Revelation".
- My other idol, besides Mr. Poe, is Howard Philips Lovecraft.
- I've just begun reading Aristotle's Metaphysics, although I'm more interested in his take on theology.
- I'm currently looking to purchase an anthology of artwork by H.R. Giger, a very talented artist who you may have heard of.
- My favorite bands, in no particular order, are System of a Down, My Chemical Romance, Green Day, and Billy Talent.
- Oh, and I'm a huge fan of black humor. I happen to admire the work of Jhonen Vasquez although I find it hard to obtain a copy of Johnny the Homicidal Maniac: The Director's Cut.
I may appear to fall in a stereotype that is commonly referred to by the mainstream masses, and a couple of my peers, as "emo/goth", but I am absolutely NOT for stereotypes nor am I a fan of conformity. I believe they are what is gradually dividing modern society.
I believe that everyone has their own rights and ideas as individuals, and that diversity should be embraced, and not excluded. I am proud to be part of a minority.
Anyways, I think I've given enough info about myself because it's a bit hard to sum up somebody's personality in just one post and you guys are still strangers as of now...but heck, we'll see how things turn out. You seem kind of nice...

We are still strangers, of course - but not even I know the people of this board for a long while, and still I am so grateful they are here and support me.
You are now part of a big family; or, as I like to say, we are all here for a reason.
So don´t worry, we are all nice, and any question or problem can be either posted officially or in E-mail/PM.
I hope to see you here often, many greetings and cheers.
