a short summarize about some mmorpg's ^^
Silkroad Online (Joymax)
place: europe - china
type: hardcore grinder
classes: none -> individual skill system (will be changed with the "europe"-update)
servers: 15 (international version)
most users from: germany, turkey, USA
+ many many ppls
+ great job system
+ free to play
+ great skill system
+ easy to understand
+ great PvP
- after lvl 30 too much grinding for lvl up
- quests are always the same
- servers overfilled, hard to login
- lags
- bots, ccf, hacks
Silkroad online is a nice mmorpg, but the grind system becomes too hard with the time (after lvl 30 about 10.000 mobs for a lvl up). the job system with the "tringular conflict" (trader - hunter - thief) is very nice idea, but the difference between the lvl of player makes it kind of undoable to do the jobs in low levels. the huge community makes it easy to get new contacts there, but also u will find annoying ppls.

- not for mmorpg newbies
- not many ppls around
at least, i played 9 dragons just for 2 days. maybe its a nice game, but i didnt enjoyed it at all. i missed the communication between the users and i didnt found anything like a guild system. i also havent seen any PvP.
in the end i just can say, the game has nice graphics, but it feels a bit like playing a single player game

flyff - fly for fun (aeonsoft) (just tried the german version!!!!!)

+ individual character looks

+ easy to understand

+ nice and friendly community
+ 4 main classes with 2 sub- classes each
+ broom + board flying system
- not many ppls around
- still many bugs
i still just played it for 2 days, but i love it. the idea with flying over the world makes this game unique at the moment. the individual style of each character is very intresting and lets the players look very different. i just played the german version on german servers, but if the ppls are that friendly on the international servers too, flyff seems to be the game with the friendliest community at all.

ay. fiesta was nice, but it seemed slower lvling than silkroad online.
