For All of those who are interested in playing this year I've set up a fantasy baseball account. However, I regret that there are no leagues available that offer a salary cap based game that was played last year for free. The style is the same head-to-head match up based game and will consist of a draft. It is an offline draft to which could be settled at your discretion. Because the game is not a salary cap, a type of draft is needed. Please let me know how this will be conducted since I am the only one not in the area.

Due to a draft, there cannot be repeat players. To make this fair the draft can be done in multiple ways. All of which depend on how many guys are playing. There are 22 roster positions to be drafted. Draft order will go through one time and reverse order the next (1 through 12; 2nd round 12 to 1, 3rd 1 to 12,...). How it is chosen doesnt matter, draw names, batting average, height, longest pemmel, what ever is decided.
1. List 10 Players (or total number of members) Per Position (non pitchers) by how you would want them. Most desired 1st on to the last one you want.
Catcher: Posada, Molina, Veritek,......
1B: Giambi, Puljos,.....
Positions:C,1b,2b,3b,ss,of,of,of (please list of by rf,cf,lf)
Once the selection order is made and the lists are in, I would check off the player chosen by the bidder by the highest player available off their list. i.e. (Team 1-C:Posada, Molina, Veritek: Posada is the Selected Player. Dohren City Diggler-C:Posada, Molina, Veritek: Molina would be selected. and so on down the list)
Pitching would be done in the same manner, however, Each Person will get 8 pitchers (3 Starters, 2 Relief, & 3 Additional Pitchers). Therefore one would list 30 Starters, 20 Relief.
This would be the first selection process.
The second selection process would be settled in the same manner after each of the selected players were posted to their repected teams. This would make it easier to select the utility, bench, and the additional pitchers.

2. Print out lists of players by position, either by name or fantasy rank (fantasy rank is easier to find players). Each person then selects the player of his choice. This goes on until the roster is set. A draft party may have to be created to get everyone together, preferible to a place with internet access.
3. The fantasy league also has an automatic draft where the #2 style of draft is done by overall rankings and each person recieves the highest available player on the board when it is their draft turn. This requires no effort to do but it does not allow for custom picks. You will however be allowed to change players after the draft for those players not selected.

Using the #1 draft model, selections will need to be sent to myself by 12 uhr Friday which will give myself time to post the choices enter them and have it set up by 16 uhr. This will allow for some time to evaluate who has been taken and then create the fill in picks to be finished and submitted by 12 uhr saturday.

The players have been selected and your rosters need to be set for this upcoming week. After you sign to your team use the edit lineup above your roster, and there you go.
