So, check it out, peeps! Set your videos.

There is a Political Programme called, 'Question Time', on UK TV, (BBC1), every Thursday night. The other night, a guy on it, wondered if Denmark & Sweden should apologise to Britain for attacking us, (as the Vikings), for about 300 years. (About 793AD, to 1066AD).
(By the way, the Normans, who conquered Anglo Saxon England, in 1066, were actually descendents of Norse Man, who had attacked France so much, that the French King gave them a small area there to live in, in the 850's AD, or so. They changed their name, to Normans - from Norse Men - which meant 'North Men'. The Normans then named their area of France, Normandy. The Normans were not French, although many of them spoke it by 1066).
In fact, the guy on 'Question Time's question was nonsense. It was the Danes from Denmark, & Norse Men from Norway, who attacked the UK, & most of Western Europe - in raids. Sweden had very little to do with it. The Swedish Vikings tended to go further East - to Trade in Russia, & they attacked the Baltic States, & also Constantinople, (modern Istanbul, in Turkey), - the Capital of the Eastern Roman Empire, on several occasions.
So, it is good that the UK may actually learn something about Sweden!
