Ljuva sextital
HI!

If I remember correct this song was played on a radio show in the early 1980's. It was released on the CD "Polars roliga timme" together with the song "En tango i det gröna" by Frida from the same radio show.The original version was sung by Brita Borg (if I remember correct), and there is a Finnish version sung by the Finnish singer Carola ("Se oli silloin").

I can check the rest of the details at home, as now I am at work.

Hi, Johnny!
That's correct, it was only done as a gesture for Stikkan in that radio show. I think it was recorded in the SR ( Swedish Radio ) studio, together with Frida's version of "Tango i det gröna". It was all just for fun, and not intended for commercial release. But, eventually, Stikkan decided to release the song on the CD "Polars roliga timme" ( Polars hour of fun ), as shown by "Jarkko".
Brita Borgs original version from 1969 is a true evergreen in Sweden.

Full of cool rarities Features one Agnetha track, the rare song-"Ljuva sextital ( Sweet Sixties)" a song supposedly recorded for Swedish radio in 1980 for tribute to Stig. This is the only B&B song other than the Swedish version of "SOS" that Agnetha recorded outside of ABBA. " Ljuva Sexital" was originally recorded in 1969 by Brita Borg. The album also includes Annifrid Lyngstad's "Tango i det gröna" , Björn Ulvaeus's "Fröken Fredriksson" and thirteen other songs. Some are tracks by people I have never heard of. You can also find two of ABBA mangers' Stig Anderson's hard to find recordings here on this album, but hey maybe's it's some other Stikkan.

Thanks "Carribean", for putting things right...I'm shocked :shock: , that Johnny didn't know that about Agnetha, hehe.

I've got that CD, and I'm reading this on the inner sleeve:
Frida's "Tango i det gröna" was recorded in the Polar studio.
Agnetha's "Ljuva sextital" was recorded in Swedish Radio's studio.
Both in 1980 for the radio programme "The Stikkan Anderson story".

A couple of comments to other songs:
Brita Borg, who did "Ljuva sexital" in 1969, is represented with another song : "Det kan dom inte förklara" ( "They can't explain that" ) written by Stikkan. It was originally recorded by our Norwegian singer Wenche "die Wenke" Myhre in 1963. She's today living together with Anders Eljas....connections, connections..

One of Swedens most known singers / entertainers is "Lill Babs". She's done shows together with Wenche a few years ago, still active at the age of 68. She had a break - through with Stikkan's "Ar du kär i mig ennu, Claes Göran" ( Are you still in love with me, Claes Göran ) in the 60's.
A few years later, in 1971, she had a big hit with Björn and Benny's " Välkommen till världen " ( Welcome to the world ).
And, the song "Ja, vi älskar dig ennu vår Barbro" ( " Yes, we still love you, our Barbro" ) is performed by Stikkan and Lukas Bonnier in a direct TV show to celebrate Lill Babs 50th birthday in 1988. A :lol: great laugh it was. ( "Lill Babs' real name is Barbro Svensson. ) At "Lill Babs" 60th birthday in -98, Agnetha was among the guests. Agnetha and Lill Babs is pictured together in Ted Gärdestad's funeral....ok, I've got to stop, could go on and on and on. :oops:
