Hello,
Do you prefer the first versions from Djupa Andetag or the remixes.
For me, except, Ogonen, i think that the first versions are better but sometimes i can't stop to listen aven em blomma remix.

I was listening to Djupa Andetag this evening from the Box set and I have the same feeling for Ogonen remix.
However I prefer the first versions except for Ogonen.

I have the Original Cd Djupa Antedag The Box Set one as well as The CD release Frida The Mixes.
I like all 3
The 2006 edition with the 3 tracks on is lovely, and to me it sounds fresher, But I quite like to play the German release Frida The Mixes, I believe it was available for a time in 1998.
I love the extended version of Aven En Blooma, simply stunning.

Djupa Andetag is a great album! I love it! But I really do not care for The Mixes.
There is just one mix I like: the Adagio mix of Alla Mina Basta Ar. That is so different from the original and has a slight Enya feel to it.
All other mixes sound rather dated to me.

No problem Pierre im glad you bought the remixes and you enjoy them

The original recipe for me. DA does not need any frippery added- it has everthing going on already.

I love that version as well, very soothing and relaxing and totally different to the album version so it's hard to compare them.
One other mix that I think is really good is the 'Ogonen' mix. In this case I definately prefer the mix over the album version. The mix is tighter, more sensual and it doesn't have those backing vocals which are all over the place on the album version and tend to get on my nerves once in a while.

I love Anders remix of Aven En Blooma.
I have the stereo cranked up when that is on.

Ah that must be the Lemon mix. Listening to it right now... thanks!
I agree: this is a good version. Nice indeed that it is just Frida and no other voices. But there is a lot going on in the musical landscape.
Just imagine the vocals with just piano and strings. I think it would work!

Hi Hades i love the Alla mina basta ar Hasbrouck heights single mix but i also addore the Adagio mix i have the same opinions as yourself its relaxing and soothing another mix that is a very relaxing and has an almost serene aura is the Adagio instrumental it is for me the most relaxing and peaceful/sensual song from the album i love the piano and all the soft instrumentals,The lemon mix of Ogonen is very jazz inspired for me its has a clear crisp sound i agree Carribean it would be interesting to hear it with just a piano/strings and Frida's vocals im sure we would love it, Aven en blooma extended version is softer than the album mix its one of the most beutiful songs ive ever listened too,Frida is at her most sensual on these songs!
Johnsteven :)

Is there another remix of this song? And where is it from?
