After wandering for what seemed like years, he began to notice signs of a civilization in the wild that he called home. In all honesty, he never considered the wild his home, he longed for the days of the bustling cities and kingdoms. But the words of his late master resonated in his ear.
"Where you lay your head is home"
He had spent many a night far from the reaches of society in search of redemption. In search of a cure to his curse. So many, that the miles behind him seemed endless. So many that he no longer knew the way home. He only knew forward. Into the dark. Into the black. The jungle.
The first sign would have gone unnoticed to most if not all. But with desperation comes acuity. A single folded blade of grass. Little surprised him anymore. But he considered which was more surprising; that one would live so deep in the unknown; or, that one who did so would be so careless as to bend a single blade of grass with his footprints.
He followed the signs. He followed the cracked twigs and the shuffled leaves. He followed wondering what sort of savage he would find at the heart of it all.
The questions would not go unanswered. For, just as he had been aware of them, so too had they known of his presence. As they surrounded him, he no longer asked how they could be so careless as to let him track their movement. He now knew that they had done it intentionally and asked how he could be so careless. Considering the length he traveled with no human contact, he would no doubt follow the trail to where they meant for him to go.
This is where they meant for him to go. Cornered. Surrounded on all sides. Movement from every angle as they surrounded him and made their presence known. There was no conscious decision whether to fight or flee. It was already decided. He extended his arms far and wide.
Painted faces and bare feet. Clothes of hide, vine, and earth. But, also armored ones. Some even wore the garb of modern society. Some wore robes, jewels, steel. They carried forged and tempered weapons. Invention, the child of the devil, machines such as crossbows were known to these primitives.
They led him to their land. To their leaders. Shocked, he stood before their council, before their elders the sages. He knew them. Not only did he know them, he shared their blood.
There before him, stood his oath brothers. Tribal One and Haltan. Reunited after years apart, they washed the night in strong drink. They entertained each other with tales of heroicism, wine, women, and song.
In the morn, he gathered his things to leave. He reached the edge of the settlement by sunrise. But they met him there. They asked how he could leave, when fate had brought him to them. They asked him what the world could give that they could not. Unable to find an answer, he asked to joined them.

I am an English speaking American adult living in the United States ( I can speak some Spanish and very little French, Italian, German, Swedish, German, etc.) I've known members of Tribe for about 6 years (Since 2000 or so). I met Logain long ago and knew Tribal One and Haltan before any of us had heard of Tibia. I was engaged to Moonie before and I am currently married to Swink. So, I guess that is why and how I am interested in Tribe. You should recruit me because I am an old, honest, honorable player. I am a Senator and ex-counselor. I was married, friends, and related to many GM's. My guild history is as follows: I was an officer in Rising Dragons and a Mercenary. I was asked by an ex-leader to hold the leader spot of Black Dragons. I supported Hokuten until I was betrayed and attacked by one of them then I became neutral. I fought in war as Merc against Lah. I supplied runes to Dark Side (highest bidders) during first DS/Alliance war. I remained neutral during the second but maintained friendships with Alliance and DS. I am neutral in the current conflict between RH and BD. I expect nothing but fellowship and fun. In return, I offer my few but sometimes useful talents. I was a top merchant and top killer at times for mercs. I clear quests, organize hunts, block monsters, roleplay, etc. I am an adult in rl, have common sense, and don't cause problems for guilds, myself, or other people. I play this game for fun and try to spread the fun around :)
