    PICTURES/JAN07: TASMANIA! (EASTCOAST+LAUNCESTON)

    1

    Watching penguins near Bicheno.

    2

    3

    4

Another blowhole. Everybody's favorite... goddamn, we seriously got wet from this bastard XD

    5

Sunrise on Wineglass Bay, the most beautiful beach I've ever seen, a true paradise.

    6

We spend the night camping on a carpark and had to get up at 4 something in the morning to walk around one hour UPHILL, completely sleepdrunken and in a bad mood, just to take those pix. What a madness_

    7

    ...but worth the efforts, right?

    8

    9

    Tobi on top!

    10

Back in the carpark, continueing sleeping until we get awake by a stinky ranger.

    11

    12

    13

Already now I'm sick of writing about wallabys... and the Overland Track - gallery is still about to get commented. Shit!

    14

    But they're just all over.

    15

This one almost jumped into our car (X

    16

Wineglass Bay a few hours later... what a beauty...

    17

    Dolphins!

    18

Sandra and me walked to the very other side of the bay only to discover some apparable fish carcasses we carried into the water to give them a 2nd choice. At least two of three used it. (:

    19

    20

Later in the afternoon. Bay of Fires, another beauty.

    21

    22

Behind those rocks several dozens of penguins gathered together that night (like every night) to feed their cubs and to have enchanting intercourse with each other (: One of them tickled my feet like I was a stone. And I don't dare to ask how familiar they get to with Sandra who get absolutely fanatic about those sweet little creatures...

    23

Next day. In the very north again, above Launceston, Tas's 2nd largest town.

    24

One last encountering before we finally split up in...

    25

    ...

    26

Launceston. Chaos in hostel room. Erm, jaa, it's my chaos. Just about to get re-ordered.

    27

    Enchantin Old town.

    28

    Windmill in Old town.

    29

One of those two big cheap supermarkets in OZ we get our daily food from. Actually I prefer Woolworth (or Safeway in some states), but "coles" just looks better.

    30

Launceston Gorge plus a swimming pool for free. This is what we could need in Berlin.

    31

Well, actually a bad idea. It's too shallow, too warm and anyway, too many little kids around. Iiiik!

    32

    33

    Launceston.

    34

    LP-section.

    35

This is what dumb people look like after a serious attempt to open a window which just doesn't move a bit. My first thought was: "Fuck! Goddamn, I have to pay that window now" - then I realized my bloody wrist (and I blooded like hell) and started to look out for a bandage.

    36

    Charming, right?

    37

    38

    39

Okay, enough blood. I'm just obsessed, I have to admit. BLOOOOOOD. Erm... well, that nice building above is... well, it's bloody nice, is it?

    40

    Hee. Any comments?

    41

    42

    My favorite gallery pic.

    43

Who the hell seriously tries to force one and a half skewlclasses on that platform? Stupid!

    44

Back in Devonport, the harbour for the SPIRIT OF TASMANIA I and II (the ferry which departs daily here and in Melb). On this stage we surrounded Tassie one time completely, but something was still missing...

    45

No, it was neither the honey farm (mjam... over 40 different honey tastes for free!)...

    46

    ...nor this stunning gorge...

    47

    48

    49

    50

...but the worldfamous OVERLAND TRACK which is still to come. [NEXT GALLERY!]
