    Shrine Ideas
Shrine of numbers: spawns 2 or 3 extra Ashigaru.

Shrine of Legends: spawns a legend(doesn't have to be the already made ones, can be weaker, basically just an aura unit) every 5 waves or so
    .
Shrine of berzerk: Spawns a high dmg, low life/armor unit.

Shrine of the turtle: spawns a low dmg, high health/armor unit.

Shrine of life: Spawns a healer.

Shrine of labor: Spawns a peasant to repair buildings in that lane.(spawned peasant will be on a timer so that they don't mass up)

    Hope you like ^.^

I love the peasent shrine idea.Make him spawn once in a long while to repair the damaged towers without having to worry bout him geting there.
Perhaps have him automaticly have auto fix on and follow through the pathing with troops till he runs into something in need of repair, repairs it and moves on and so on till he runs into enemy base.
The healer idea....its a good idea but its crazy if you consider warlord ><
When you zerg a lane with warlord with litle opposition he can stay in that zerg for quite long thanks to that heal.If you zerg a lane with a 4 people group with a warlord the place is defenatly gone unless u oppose them with at least 4 people.
If you zerg a lane with just a warlord or with a 4 way zerg WITH some healing units making shure u dont die ><thats insane.

Quote: Shrine of numbers: spawns 2 or 3 extra Ashigaru.

That could be pretty cool. It would definitely have to be 2 ashigaru, not 3.. imagine stacking them. 12 extra ashigaru would be NUTS, whereas 8 would be ok. Even so, not sure if this is a good idea in terms of balance - I get the impression, thinking about it, that it's possibly a bit overpowered. If it's implimented, we'll see I guess whether it needs to be nerfed.

Quote: Shrine of Legends: spawns a legend(doesn't have to be the already made ones, can be weaker, basically just an aura unit) every 5 waves or so.

Not so sure on this one. Anyone who's seen a Legendary Army knows just how devastating a powerful aura-based unit can make an army. Essentially, this would be -extremely- difficult to balance.

Quote: Shrine of berzerk: Spawns a high dmg, low life/armor unit.

You mean kind of like a Shrine of Fire? :P

Quote: Shrine of the turtle: spawns a low dmg, high health/armor unit.

... kind of like a Shrine of Strength?

Quote: Shrine of life: Spawns a healer.

While this is a cool idea, I think I might have to go with Wizard.dark on this one. Anyone who's played Boreal Conflict knows that healer units can be extremely powerful when used correctly. In a low-damage game like SL where things take a while to die on their own, a healer would be devastating. Probably going to be either nearly useless, or extremely uber - and definitely very difficult to balance.

Quote: Shrine of labor: Spawns a peasant to repair buildings in that lane.(spawned peasant will be on a timer so that they don't mass up)

You might as well rename this to 'Shrine of Laziness' - a single Shrine of Wealth will pay for any peasants you need to repair lanes with, and more. The only reason people don't repair lanes is sheer laziness or lack of micromanagement skill.

You probably know how hard I am to please with new ideas and content. Either way, I think the Shrine of Numbers (Possibly with a more appropriate name - perhaps Shrine of Conscription) could work well, as well as the Shrine of Life if you ever managed to balance the damn thing. Thanks for the suggestions, Viziroth :)

Speaking of Shrine ideas, I had one myself a while ago. I've been pondering on it for quite a while now, and I think that it would work well.

Every shrine-experienced player knows that, in the later versions, the Shrine of Strength is underpowered. It's far more effective to shove Shrines of Night and/or Shrines of Fire on to a lane than to spend your gold, honour and precious shrine slots on Shrines of Strength.

However, I have figured out a way to buff them slightly and also make the name more appropriate.

    Code: Shrine of Strength:

Spawns one additional Yari Cavalry in the lane in which the shrine is built. (What it already does). However, this Yari Cavalry is slightly different in that it also has a 500 AoE aura giving a single extra point of armour to all friendly units.

Essentially, this will make your entire wave of creep ever so slightly more 'tanky'. +1 armour isn't anything amazing for one unit, but in a big wave of creep it will make a difference. Coupled with the fact that you also get a perfectly good Yari Cavalry, this shrine will now be worth getting. Because the aura only adds +1, as well, the shrine will also not be -essential-. Kind of like the Shrine of Night - weak spot helps a lot, but it's not essential. This aura will help a lot, but it's also not essential in a shrine build.

Furthermore, it adds a bit more strategy to killing the creep - and also to designing your shrine build. You're going to want to kill the Yari Cavalry that carries the aura before you kill any of the other regular creep. However, because you also need to kill any Ninjas and Elite Archers as soon as possible, the aura's not going to just be targetted and removed straight off.

In terms of names for the aura, I don't think Devotion would really fit. Here's some that both I and people that I have talked to about the idea have come up with:

-Formation (The Yari Cavalry essentially acts as a squad commander of the troops, and gets them to more effectively arrange themselves - thus giving them extra survivability against the enemies, translating in game terms to the +1 armour bonus).

-Tactics (Essentially for the same reasons as Formation - just an alternative word to use. Personally, I prefer Formation).

-Awareness (Based on the presumption that the Yari Cavalry 'commanding' the creep push would motivate them to take better care of each other in combat, keep them alert and thus provide them with a +1 armour bonus within range of his voice).

It may be argued that doing this will make it so that people will only ever get a single Shrine of Strength. Well, in counter to that argument, I present the Shrine of Night. Currently, people seem to only get a single Shrine of Night in any one lane - because you can't Weak Spot an enemy twice, so why bother getting 2 Ninjas? Well, if you get 2 Ninjas instead of 1, it firstly makes it a lot harder to get rid of the Ninjas and thus stop the Weak Spotting. Secondly, it means that you get a lot more Weak Spot in each creep wave - meaning that more if not all of the enemy creep will be armour-downed and thus extremely vulnerable to AoE attacks. Of course, the downside is that shrine-spawned Ninjas are not as sheerly effective in combat as a Yari Cavalry or better yet an Elite Archer.

The Shrine of Strength will work with a similar premise. If you have only 1 aura-giving Yari Cavalry in a creep wave, then once he dies the aura is gone. However, if you have two, the aura will be that much harder to get rid of. Not to mention the fact that the Yari Cavalry unit in itself is reasonably powerful and will thus make your creep wave a bit more 'tanky' (Which, of course, it already does - just not well enough to be worth it). Just like the Shrine of Night - and, in fact, like the Shrine of Fire... while the first shrine of that type placed in that lane will have the greatest impact, subsequent additional shrines of the same type will most definitely not be useless.

Well with the shrine of legends idea it woulsn't be one of the actual legends. It'd be much weaker like maybe, +1 or 2 def, +5% atk dmg, +5% atk speed/move speed, 5%dmg return, or slight increased health regen.

Something to give your creeps a slight advantage.

As for the labor, it could be so that the peasants the spawn from it work faster, or provide an aura/spell that ups towers armor/dmg while it's working on it.
