Hi guys!
This is to remind you guys we have a war next weekend, Saturday at 19:00. We planned a 7 vs 7, but neither you or we are sure we can get that many players to play the war then. Just send the most players you find and we'll see what we can arrange then.
We do want to inform you that our war server is being modified at the moment: right now it has ET 2.60b version installed, but in a few days it'll be changed to 2.55. So, we ask of you that you have both versions installed! If you wish not to have both versions installed, just let us know and we'll cancel the war.

MUST LOOK FOR A VERSIONCHANGER! dont want to install and uninstall the patches all the time..
even GER-clan asked for that..
would like to know the advantages you have with v2.5

Well, actually, I don't see a real difference, either, but seems more (fun) clans are playing on ET 2.55, so we can arrange more fun wars.
You don't need a patch switcher, by the way. Just install both ET versions on your computer. I even have three versions on mine (2.55, 2.60 and 2.60b). When the installer requests you to make a folder for the ET you want to install, don't name it Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory, like the default indicates. For example, I named my 2.55 'ET 2.55' and the 2.60b 'ET 2.60b' :) That way, you have both versions without every time overwriting the last one you installed!

Just a question: why you don't lets your server on 2.60b mode and after the war put 2.55?
I really don't want to instal another mod: i've etpub, etpro, jaymod, noquarter, on 2.6 and my game bug so often with all that different mod!
And witch map you want to play? :shock:

Well, the problem is SLUT isn't the only operator of our war server, as it is a cooperation with the BL00D clan.
But, we received news from BL00D's clanleader that the server will remain 2.60b 'till Monday, like you ask.

Oh, to complete my reply: the maps we propose are the basic Siwa Oasis and Goldrush, because other maps may give problems when you connect to our war server. We're sorry for that, and are trying to solve it.

Btw i heard this match never played cos [SLUT] didnt get enough players :roll: Will that mean we have battle next time or we just won that "friendly" match :twisted:

dont understand certain ppl... if you know that there is a war check some hours before if you can connect to the warserver without probs like we did!
and don't confirm youre presence at war in forum first and at the end you are not there!
