My hunter has reached lvl 28 today and will soon be ready for PvP battles. But what makes a good Hunter on a battleground? This is the setup I planned for my hunter, please let me know what you think about it from your own expierence:

I think it`s more useful to have a pet with good armor stats for PvP to keep the enemy busy so that you can concentrate more on doing damage. I also have a grey owl and both pets do about the same dmg on this lvl, especially since turtles have more abilities than a owl, which has only growl (which is useless for PvP).
Skills:
Probably one of the most important factors for PvP. Since your pet enrolls more as a tank rather than a serious threat to the enemy, most skill points should be invested into dmg skills.

This is a fairly good skill distribution. It mainly focusses on increasing the basic dmg and your chance to land a critical hit. The improved concussive shot and wing clip may not seem too important but can buy you some essential seconds for your escape.
Equipment:
Agility and Strength are most important to increase both your damage and critical hit chance, it`s also a good idea to raise your Intellect/Spirit a little since most abilities suck a lot of mana. The other stats aren`t very important for a hunter since he sucks in close combat, which is also why we invested some skill points in concussive shot / wing clip to give him a better chance to escape.
