Do we have to wait one more year for Comanche Moon??

    Re: Comanche Moon News

    newnativspirit - 29.01.2007, 15:16

Back here in Europe we´ll have to wait at least another year to get in on DVD (from the States) - lol

No, I guess they are talking about next season ...

"This season has three movies (under the "Hallmark Hall of Fame" banner) and no miniseries. "Commanche Moon" - a mini from "Lonesome Dove" author Larry McMurtry, starring Val Kilmer - will be held back for next season."

As soon as I´ll get told about the date, I´ll let you know.

Here Here! Some of the programs or shows they put on TV now are a joke - one big joke. About the only thing I watch is Law and Order (all 3), the weather channel or Sci-Fi..

lol I don't watch that much TV either. There is (mostly) nothing really good that's worth watching. Only some s*** like (sorry to alll those who love it) Spongebob, which is absolutely stupid-making if you know what I mean.

i agree ,ooh how i get frustrated about that show ,what kind of ppl made that movie ,i have the same with South Park
sorry ,but i will NEVER like that serie ,the makers have no heart ,they are coldhearted ,i wouldn't be shocked if their hearts were made of ice or stone
sorry this isnt; interrested at all ,but i won't be able to see that show cause of what the makers did to Steve Irwin and specially His Family

    Re: Comanche Moon News

I don't like that shows, because they show little children a world in which hitting another person doesn't hurt the person, you know. In those series there is nothing wrong with killing/hurting/etc. other people and that's what's so shocking about it.

lol - doesn´t really look like they were fooling around ... lol - damn, he gave this guy some hard punches!

Yes, Eddie looks good in BC - still very young, but good. He lost lots of weight and quit smoking for that one ... I was talking to a friend of Eddie who has seen him training hard for the movie and he said that Eddie´s body really changed during that time - oh well, I do believe it did change -lol - training soooooooooo hard !!! I liked his "cute" muscles in the movie - he had a nice little six-pack LOL I was looking at it with my "instructor-eyes" - lol - don´t worry!

    Re: Comanche Moon News

    eddiefever - 11.02.2007, 01:38

wel eh had a nice six-pack
to bad he was so skinny
    and he was really pale
you could see he did a lot of training and maybe even a diet ( like most boxers do)
but it was great acting !!
and the boxing ,it seems real ,but he already knew he was gonna win ,so there was no real preasure ,he did ACT so good that it seemed REAL  :D

and the smoking ,he smoked ? :?: :?:
wow ,glad eh quiet ,hope he quiet that forever :!: :!: :?

Actually he didn't hit anyone. It's choreographed like a dance or what a magician does....an illusion. You are led to believe that physical contact takes place, but it doesn't.

If you watch or listen to the director's commentary on the DVD, Rick Schroder said that a few times Eddie did almost hit him and the cast that's present laughs and says that wouldn't have been good because of Ed's strength.

Of course he didn´t hit anyone - lol - this was more a question to get back to the subject, which is Eddie Spears, and it worked ... lol ... just imagine the guys would really beat up each other in those action movies ... lol ... you would only see actors running around with lots of band aid !!! LOL

Eddie trained for 3 months prior with the legendary boxing trainer Jimmy Gambia. Jimmy was the trainer for De Niro in Raging Bull and Stallone in Rocky. He is very professional and he worked with Eddie on healthy eating as well as the physical training. He took real good care of Eddie during his training. Very nice man.

The best way to quit smoking is never to start! I learnt this lesson the hard way. I smoked for a while when I was young, and still occasionally give in to the temptation when I've had a few drinks.

wel Burry My Heart At Wounded Knee is probebly finished
and maybe he is having a small break
cause comanche and burry will probebly be on tv or theaters pretty soon
so than he will have interviews again and stuff ,and not to mention about the festivals

a claimer: i'm just thinking out loud ,i do NOT know any news about eddie's doings ( lol) not in the past ,nor in the future
i only know the things that can be found on websites ,all other things i say are all my own thinking

for those who think WT@ is she talking about
wel i am a member of other boards and websites and i found out that so times when you talk about any celeb you should give a statement that all things you say are from your own thoughts and not real info about the celebs

wel i thought i should say it here as wel ,cause Anne already has enough trouble with the songs-issue
and it is porbebly necessery ,cause why would it be on all the other boards ,ya know
and it are 9 other boards that do these statements
specially in stories and topics like this

if it is not nececcary thna let me kwno ,so i can delete it
cause it feels so wierd to write it ,cause ppl on this board know it ,but hey these statements are made for copywriters and proclaimers and stuff

Well at the Into The West, only Zahn, Irene and Towsan (sorry can't spell her name) where there.

The Emmy Awards 2007 will be on German TV Sat Sep 16.

I don´t think that you can just go there - you must be invited to come or send there by the production company to speak for them or whatever ... So hopefully anybody of the cast of BMHAWK will be at the Awards.

    Re: Comanche Moon News

    enelya06 - 22.08.2007, 17:31

Yes you have to be invited - however can't fans line the streets in hopes of catching one of their favorites.

enelya06 wrote: Yes you have to be invited - however can't fans line the streets in hopes of catching one of their favorites.

    Yeah you can.

I don't know if Eddie would go, somehow I'd be very surprised if he did. Adam & August for sure as they are nominated, and I'm sure all the technical people (hair, make-up, costume, editing, etc.) will be there as they are nominated.

In January or February there are the SAG awards - now if as a whole the cast are nominated then, that's when I could see Eddie attending...but for the Emmy's...not so much.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it appeared that Eddie didn't attend to two premieres (L.A./NYC) for BMHAWK - I only remember him attending the private screening in Rapid City.

He does seem down to earth. But I know there are photos of him at various parties...but none that are "red carpet" now that I think about it - so maybe he's a low key partier (likes to go to parties but not the hype part of it). I dunno, I'm just rambling on...

He did attend the premiere's of ITW - although there are limited photos of the second premiere (they mostly focused on Michael for that one).

    Re: Comanche Moon News

    enelya06 - 23.08.2007, 15:45

I noticed that they sort of centered on Mike as well. Course Mike had a key roll.

hadn't noticed that before ,but you are right

wel ,in the old pics it seems he was more trying to hide behind hid brother (not all pics ,just some)

and also ,i remmeber with HatchFest ,he was so shy during the interview ,that he let Michael talk for him a couple of times

while he now speaks in front of a much bigger audience ,and who are also have more critic (Teenagers  )
it shows he's growing (a bit) out of his shyness

Sorry to go off topic - but I fully understand what you mean. After my parents divorced, my mom kept complaining to me that she "saw" my dad in me and it made her upset - because I have very similar mannerisms as him. Of course it upset me, 'cause I am who I am - and yeah I am Daddy's little girl! :D

So back to C Moon - I'm hoping this is still on track to be aired in November.

I never told my son that I see his dad in him, cause his dad left us when my son was only 4 years old and he never cared about his son no more! So my son doesn´t know his father. Today he knows that his father was a jerk (he beated me up and stuff) and so it´s good I never told him that he his coming after his dad.

Wow, that is terrible. Does your son have any kind of relationship with the girls' father?

Yes, a very good one - he is also my son´s dad, cause they accepted each other right from the beginning. My son calls him dad and I don´t think he is thinking of his biological father that often anymore ... they don´t have a relationship while Charly (the girls´dad) was around all the years and cared for him ... my son and I were very lucky in this respect!

My daughter favors her dad and they are alike in many ways.

I guess, that ´s what we will have to deal with for the rest of our lives ...

yep we will. All of the grandkids on my ex's side favor their dad's or mom. My ex had 1 sister and 3 brothers. In fact his sister is the only one who has stayed married to the same guy.

Well, that really is great that things turned out that way. My best friend had a similar thing happen to her. Her real father hasn't been around since she was very young, and she considers her stepfather her "real" dad. He is like a hero to her.

    Ok. I am confused. :?
I was going to put up something about Comanche Moon but lost my thoughts while trying to follow the posting thread. Maybe I am in the wrong spot but I was hoping to post about the upcoming mini-film.
It is getting late here and I have a big assignment tomorrow, oh well maybe later I can figure out where to post it and will go look up the link again.

    :(

RedC- are those air dates for just Canada- or the US too??

PS- hello from across the Lake! I'm just below the snow belt, so I haven't seen too much white stuff. Just flurries in the air. I'm waiting for the first covering so I can go play with my 4 y/o- we both love the snow!
