Apart from TWTIA, there are quite a few excellent lyrics.

Andante Andante, dealing with the tender moment between lovers as well as Me and I. I'll stop here to give other people chance to say something as I felt the urge to list all the songs. :P :lol:

I agree, by the way, but I also want to mention a song that has not been mentioned yet: The Piper, because of its message of the danger of following a leader because of his charisma rather than his message (and you can sing along! :wink: )

Super Trouper is one of my two favorite albums (alongside The Album).

Lay All Your Love On Me (this is the dogs whatsits as far as I'm concerned- one of the best lyrics Bjorn ever wrote. Nowadays with stalkers and O.C.D, etc it was ahead of it's time in many ways).

As far as lyrics I like "Super Trouper" and "Happy New Year"

I always like the song Super Trouper, but I didn't get it, I always thought it was about a highway state trooper or paratrooper, but once learn what a Super Trouper meant, the song made perfect!!!sense. :P :P :P

I always thought with the title like "Happy New Year" the whole song would be upbeat, but the verses are terribly pesimistic. :( :( :(

I was going to say "Happy New Year" but I feel the "at the end of 89" dates the song, which is a shame.

Happy New Year may have downbeat, depressing lyrics but they ring true, nonetheless and we've all felt that 'morning after', anti-climax feeling, haven't we? Clever lyrics that rhyme perfectly but I agree.. it does tend to make you feel like cashing in your chips! :lol:

(Acutally, TWOFD and LAYLOM are in a tie for third)

I have two Super Trooper albums - due to overzealous gifting - so one rides in the car permanently. I have a third from the box set, and the bonus tracks are different. For the set, they dropped White Sombrero (Frida's worst song) and added Elaine and the Spanish versions of Andante and Happy New Year (Felicidad). :wink: (I wish I could hear Agnetha sing POYWS) 8)
