Saw this quiz question on a musical website that I visit often. It isn't often that an Abba question or answer ever comes up. What was even more surprising was how many others there knew the answer other than myself.

On top of that SOS is the only (or one of a few) singles where both the title and the band's name are an abbreviation for something.

Back when Casey Kasem was doing the American Top 40 Countdown, this question/tidbit would come up every couple years or so. Additionally, Fred Bronson of Billboard's Chartbeat, a longtime ABBA fan, brings it up like every 18 months.
