Hallo Zusammen,
bin nach langer Pause auf dieses "Neue" Forum gestoßen. War allerdings schon im alten - in den alten Foren- unter dem Namen "Paul Weller" aktiv.

Hat jemand Tips für Brüssel? Shopping, Nightlife etc.

Hab zwar keine Brüssel-Tipps für dich, aber trotzdem ein "Welcome Back" nach Münster! ;) Hatte Ende letzten Jahre schon Pau..... gefragt, wo du abgeblieben bist... ;)

Around avenue Louise and Toison d'Or quarter (same place), loads of designer's shops... The main commercial quarter is "Rue Neuve" but not that many good shops (Inno could be an interesting visit at some point). Another shop selling CP,SI and other brands is located 579 Chaussée de Waterloo and is called "Parachute Jump". xxxxxxx will certainly complete this basic list ;)

Pubs and bars, some decent pubs around the Schuman quarter (Tube Station Maelbeek) among them, The Wild Geese (good beers and fit birds 8-))!* In the center, the usual OREILLYs just in front of the stock exchange (Bourse) and other friendly bars for a night out such as "Le corbeau", Celtica and so on. These pubs stay open during the whole night... as for the clubs, it really depends what type of music you enjoy but I mainly travel North of the country for that ;)

As some lads never visit Amsterdam without having a walk through the red district, you might want to see "Rue d'Aerschot" just at the exit of the North train Station. :-X

*Not fare from there, a good adress just to begin the evenin' with... Manhattan (@ the exit of Maelbeek's tube station, on friday nights), a tidy strip-tease bar: cheap as f**k (no entry costs and pints for +- 4euros) and some good entertainment. With some friends, we often had some drinks there before moving on. It's been a long time since i last went there but I don't think you'll be disappointed. ;D.

danke strongbow, sehr nett, sehr hilfsbreit. bin mit meiner frau unterwegs, sodass einge tips wohl nicht ausprobiert werden:)
