Frida the mixes cd is for me a very special cd it was released in 1998 and the songs featured are from Fridas comeback album 12 years after Shine, Djupa Endetag released in 1996,The album Djupa Endetag reached number one in the swedish charts,The Frida mixes cd featured remixes of 3 songs from the album 1)Aven en blooma,2)Alla mina basta ar,3) Ogonen,There is 7 mixes in total 1 remixed version of Aven en blooma ,4 remixed versions of Alla mina basta ar,2 remixed versions of Ogonen.From this cd my favourite mix is Aven en blooma 6.34 version closley with Alla mina basta ar -Hasbrouck Heights Single Mix,This song is a beutiful duet with Marie Fredriksson,Ogonen Lemon Mix is also a beutiful mix, all songs on this cd is a must have from Fridas solo career,Please add your thoughts and opinions on this remarkable cd thankyou

i like the whole cdjust without the ogonen lenon mix i didn't like very much but i'm always happy that there is a cd of frida :wink:

I must admit I don't play this CD a lot, but there are a few very good mixes on there, some of which were included on the remastered "Djupa andetag" album in Frida's box set.
I actually prefer the lemon mix of "Ogonen" to the album version. It has more sensuality.
The adagio mixes of "Alla mina basta ar" are very good as well. It shows that a song can change totally with a new mix. In this version it almost sounds like a song by Enya, while the Hasbrouck Heights mix of the same song is a modern dance track.

I also like the Ogonen lemon mix Hades its a very sensual mix i think, I also thought Alla mina basta ar Adagio mixes sound almost classical very much like Enya,I really think the Alla mina basta ar Hasbrouck heights single mix is a brilliant dance mix,I would have loved to have heard this in a night club in sweden i surely would have been on that dance floor in seconds giving it my all :lol: :oops: :lol: Regards johnsteven :wink:

I was given this amazing Cd soon after it was released.

Yes a fantastic CD, I play it quite a lot,

I love the extended mix of Aven En Blooma it is my favourite.

I agree with you Johnsteven a great CD

Thanks Maxi-saxi I really enjoy both versions but on the longer remixed version of Aven en blooma its more jazzy sounding and for me a slower tempo Fridas voice is pure crystal clear in this version,I would haved loved it if there was a remixed version of Sista valsen med dig Cheers johnsteven :)
