How did you get into GD?
I first heard of them about a couple of years ago, with american idiot, but i didn't know anything about them. i then got BIAB for christmas 2005 and decided to find out stuff about them. went on the net, found loads of cool sites got to know a lot about them and at the moment i have got: Kerplunk, Dookie, Insomniac, Nimrod, American Idiot and Bullet in a Bible.

I start like them after American Idiot come out. don't get me worng, it's not that I hate them before, it just I never knew them before... I had no idea that the songs Basket case and Time of you're life are there songs, I know... wierd.

A friend of mine was into GD when "American Idiot" was released because she was allowed to kiss Billie and stuff... Well, she showed me the video for "American Idiot" and a friend gave me "Nimrod", I bought "Dookie"...

i saw american idiot on mtv and thought: this song and that video.....AWESOME!! then iŽve bought american idiot (album) and now iŽve got almost all LPŽs of them (except kerplunk, going to buy it later)

In my counrty it's very hard to find the two firsts albums so I don't have them yet.

I heard about Green Day after American Idiot come out. I hadnŽt heard about them, because no-one talked about GD before American Idiot here in Finland...! (Well, Dookie was very popular). But now IŽve got Dookie, Insomniac, Nimrod, Warning, International Superhits, Shenanigans, American Idiot, Bullet in a Bible and The Saints Are Coming :)

I heard Green Day for the first time as a kid by my bothers, but I didn't really listen to them as a fan- I just thought of them as music around the house which my brothers played. Then a lil' later on when I became more aware or music and such, I was given 'Warning:' so from then on I took more notice of them, around the ISH and Shenanigans era onwards.

jeez thats a mouthful.

yeah, i know. by getting into Green Day, I got into the whole alterative rock scene. she showed me MCR, TLE, AFI, billy talent. she really did completely change me life. changed me forever. I love her!

Green Day didn't change who I am... no one can't change me beside myself but they help me to appreciate music more than before :D

They kind of changed who I am. I lost a couple of friends, I learned about individuality, "to have courage to follow your own path" and all that. Not a direct "consequense" of listening to GD, but somehow it was... or... whatever, I'm confusing myself right now so nevermind.
