How many of you are members?
Hej all! I just got my ABBA Fan Club Magazine today :D , and I started to think about everyone on here. I've noticed that several people mention the Fan Club, but I haven't seen many people asserting whether or not they are members. So are you? I've only joined recently, in August (so I got the June magazine), and this edition is my third [although unfortunately, I haven't gotten the chance to look at it yet (except to see that I didn't win the contest :( ) since I don't have any appointments but I've got "work I have to do" ]

So anyway, back to the topic: Who's a member and when did you join? And if you're not a member, why did you decide not to be one?

i am a member.
my first mag was no83 , June 2005.
good isn't it ?

when i re-newed after a year i rang them and was on the phone for over an hour.
costly call but it was worth it 'cos they are so nice to talk to.

Since the mid-nineties I am a member, too. IŽm always happy when I got the new magazine.

Also IŽm a member of the great fan-club "ABBA Intermezzo".

No I'm not a member, I joined the UK fan club all the way back in 1976 or so but I had loads of problems I gave up. Then a friend gave me a years subscription. When that ran out um I don't really know why I didn't join again. I just didn't.

I joined Regina's Intermezzo Club a few days ago because she's a terrific lady and I like her a lot.

I have been a member for about ten years and I enjoy the magazine a lot. It has getting better and better!
Their Recordservice is amazing as well!

Yes, the Record Service is also superb, that's where I ordered my ABBA The Movie Limited Edition from.

Thanks to everyone for your replies. I have to renew again in March. It feels so good to be a part of something like this. Makes me feel even mroe connected. Plus, the magazine is terrific, always worth waiting for. I only read a couple of articles so far (in this issue), but I'm very happy with how it is.

I made a prediction a while back that this forum would be mentioned in the magazine...and sure enough it is!

(Also Caribbean, congrats on your blogs being featured!)

Johnny you should join if you run this site. I run a lot of yahoo groups and two fan froums I need to join.
