Steve Young geb. 11.12.1956, Sohn von Alexender Young (28 December 1938 – 4 August 1997) bzw. Neffe von Malcolm und Angus Young.
Aufgewachsen in Hawick eine Stadt in den Scottish Borders von Schottland. Lebt heute in Birmingham.

Da das Plattenlabel JIVE durch die Umsatz schwachen Verkaufszahlen kein Geld mehr für große Touren ausgeben wollte,
konnten sie sich nur im Raum Birmingham und Umland etablieren. Später wurde der Vertrag aufgehoben.

(Open air festival. Bands played on stage in front of college building, where Tesco is now.
Starfighters were supposed to headline but had just split so a couple of them got some local lads,
called themselves 3rd World War and played a set consisting of some of their stuff and a few standards.)

1987 bis 1988 wurde die Band mit dem Lineup von Steve Burton (Gesang), Stevie Young (Gitarre), Rik Sandford (Gitarre), Steve 'Redvers' Hill (Bass), Jamie Hawkins (Schlagzeug) reformiert.
Hauptquartier der Band war ein Haus in der Rotton Park Road aber nach kurzer Zeit ging es in das
Rehearsal Studio The Pit in der Grainville Street in Birmingham das Steve Burton gehört.
Hier fanden teils Gigs bzw . Demo Aufnahmen statt.

Starfighters reformierten sich nochmals für eine einmalige Show am Freitag, 10. November 2006 im "The Roadhouse" in South Birmingham,
um Geld für wohltätige Zwecke (St Mary's Hospice) zu sammeln,
mit dem Lineup Steve Burton (Gesang) Stevie Young (Gitarre und Gesang), Pat Hambly (Gitarre), Doug Dennis (Bass und Gesang) und Tony Bayliss (Drums)

Little Big Horn UK, aus WEST MIDLANDS, Birmingham
Little Big Horn supporteten LOVE / HATE und LA GUNS 1991 sowie GUN 1992 auf der UK Tour.
Letztlich scheitertete Little Big Horn, an einem Platten Deal trotz lobenswerter Presse.
Nach Live-Dates in Holland im Mai 1993 mit neuen Sänger Clive Palmer, lösten sich Little Big Horn im Winter 1993 wieder auf.

played on the Coachella Festival 2015 maybe the old one that Malcolm played !!!
