For me, it seems like ages ago, but I first heard about ELT back in early 2001. At the time, I still had 56k, so downloading any sort of mp3/video took years to finish. Anyways, I saw a site which had the "Necessary" PV (roughly 40MB, I think). I don't remember how long it took to DL it, but I know I spent an hour or 2 daily just to download an extra 2-5MB of the video until it finished :lol: ! I thought Kaori was so cute at the time, so I had to find more songs! I eventually heard a single or 2, followed by ELT Trance, in which I was then hooked :lol:

At the beginning I downloaded Ayumi and from ayumi I jumped to Inuyasha music . There I found a 30 sec version of grip! ... I never looked up the name of the song but one day I was bored and looked up the name of some songs . There have been ELT and it was teh most interesting of what I found . I don't know how I became a fan .. but now I'm here and have much albums of them and a concert dvd ^^

It's a long story... I first heard their debut song "Feel My Heart" out of random in a CD shop, and I thought the vocalist sounds really cool, so I bought the single home and just kept listening because of its addictive tune... Then in 2000 when Mitsuru Igarashi the group leader announced he's leaving ELT I was totally shocked and in disbelief, it was "fragile" that regained my confidence in the duo, oh dear that's my all-time #1 favorite J-pop song. T_T

Nee-Chan-Pany, sorry I don't have that CD... :oops: I'm more interested in collecting the releases under ELT, but I heard the two songs on that solo single some time ago (lost the mp3 files after my HD was miserably reformatted) and they sound good. :(

one day i was looking at jpop lyric station's top 10 singles of the month part of the site, and i saw there was a band called Every Little Thing, with a single called 'UNTITLED 4 BALLADS'. so i downloaded UNSPEAKABLE and absolutely LOVED it, and since then i listened to Many Pieces, and i bought EBS2 when i was in japan, which got me into their a bit earlier stuff, then i dl'd some very early stuff, and since then i've bought everlasting and time to destination and commonplace. I LOVE ELT!!!

I love the 'fragile' cover. Well, mine's a long story, because I didn't like them instantly and took several tries.
'Every Little Thing' was just one of those names you hear all the time and recognise even if you don't listen to J-pop. (I'm Chinese, so you hear about them every now and then), and I remember the EBS+3 poster in a CD store I walk past regular, thought it looked pretty cool.
I started listening to J-pop at the very beginning of 2000, when 'jump' was first released I decided I'll give them a try, but didn't like it. I later gave a random try on WinMX and got 'Feel My Heart', which I really disliked at the time. o_o' I also had 'fragile' on my HD for awhile, but didn't see much in it neither. *Sigh*
Then while watching 'channel-a' (or 'music a'), the short clip of 'Someday, someplace' got my attention, so I DLed that and liked it, I also DLed KIWOKU when it came out and liked it, but still, I wasn't a fan yet.
Then UNTITLED 4ballads came out, so I thought ELT's songs are generally nice, and a 4A single sounded like a good deal, so I brought it. But I didn't take much interest in it, so it stayed on the shelf for awhile, although eventually I started to take a liking towards 'nostalgia'. Then several weeks after Many Pieces came out, the album was featured on 'channel-a'. In the sound check segment, I saw like...3 or 4 seconds of the 'jump' PV and feel in love with it immediately! I went to listen to the song again on my HD and loved every bit of it! Then I went to get the PV, then downloaded lots and lots and lots of PVs and that's how my fandom started. It is also now that I began to love 'fragile', and little by little I've grown a liking to Igarashi-ELT as well as post-Igarashi-ELT.
Unfortunately by then 'Many Pieces' was sold out at the local store...I was in vain trying to find it and tried to get the store to order it for me. But they suck and never did it, plus the copy of 4 FORCE at the local store was very dirty and overpriced...I couldn't wait any longer and had to get my hands on something ELT related. I made my first order off yesasia and ordered '4 FORCE' and 'Many Pieces', and while waiting brought 'Video Compilation III' in the local store because they had it in stock. (But never the album? Wtf? o_O)

Heard about them, thought of trying them, didn't like them the first 2 times, then Kev sent me some stuff, and now I do. Very short and simple :D

Me? I started listening to J-pop in 2002, and around last year my friend tried to introduce ELT to me with "ai no KAKERA". Sadly, however, it didn't last for more than a few seconds before I pressed the Delete button.
Then I was browsing through the Oricon charts in March 2003, and I noticed "Grip!" was somewhere there. Being curious, I downloaded the single. I didn't like "Grip!" but took an immediate fancy to "yurayura". Thus began my love for ELT. I didn't become a full-fledged fan until "mata ashita" last year though.

Me... I'm only a new fan. A little while ago I asked people at AHS to recommend some artists, and ELT was one of them. I downloaded 4 FORCE and Eternity albums from a site, and I really liked them. I've been downloading some stuff and bought UNTITLED 4 ballads [the only thing I could afford recently] and will be getting commonplace CD+DVD & Every Best Single 2 [with VCD] tomorrow as presents.
