Hi to all,
I'm one of rhun's best friends and finally i'm registered.
I'm coming from germany and i'm 18 years old. (turned 18 some days ago )
My favorite hobbys are playing and working with the PC, reading all kinds of books, mostly novels and especially books about history of different cultures.
Blind Guardian is one of my favorite bands and many congratz to all they did for the music. i prefer music like that because i get the feeling to be unterstood better and in my opinion music often helps to stand bad times which surely happened to all of us in the past. Furthermore music takes a very important part of my life, and i'm looking forward to recieve your opinions on that and to talk about that more deeply.
In the near future i'm will go to school and try to get my education in the section that is called biologic technical assistant.
btw i greet all my friends and those who would like to become one of mine soon.

:D Good to see you here Buliwyf, help your friend and the site become succesful.
Music can, and does help people cope with down times. That is where the Blues came from, folks being downtrodden. Out of Blues came Rock, Country, and Jazz, and has evolved ever since. Music is also universal, it is a language that everyone understands.
Literature is also wonderful, you can travel anywhere with your mind, understand cultures, and much more.
Here is a link, if you like poetry, from the mid to late 1800s to early 1900s, of one of my favorite poets, James Whitcomb Riley, you may enjoy.

It is written in broken english and backwoods dialect. It is poetry for children to the elderly, it is funny, sweet, and sad. Most of all, it is enjoyable. :wink:
