I'll post some sites that have good info and links for ideas and discussion of the Blues. An excellent way to get them started.
www.music-discussion.com. This site has some excellent info on the Blues from around the globe. I'm DBJ there and site Super Moderator
www.tweedsblues.net. Go ahead, Dive into the Delta, learn the roots, and a lot of pre-war, along with some current events and bands. This is a good and fun bunch. Be sure and tell the Mayor, Tweed, of Tweedburg, DJ sent ya by. You can also hear Tweed's Bad Recordings. A down home site, for sure.
http://blindman.forumhoster.com. The Blindman sees all! Perhaps the biggest Blues forum in the world. Everything pertaining to the Blues, along with Rock, Soul, and of course, Jazz. Tell them DBJ sent you.
Have fun at those 3 and say hello. A lot of good and friendly people at all of them. Jump in on those, be sure to place this site in your signature, and bring your thoughts and ideas back here for discussions.
BluesDawg may throw some at ya in the near future as well.

Beach is another great blues resource (along with the Dawg here and Deej) they are the ones I turn to for info, tips on artists, links .. basically anything BLUES!

guys, an idea for making these kinds of conversation more easier :)
go to national/regional and then open up a section where you americans or canadians (sorry palmer ;)) can talk to each other!!
don't get me wrong...it's just not that it is not allowed in here, but it would be far better cuz you may also talk about offtopic stuff...not just music...you know, it is not that much restricted!
anyone of you might do that, so that there is not just a german topic in it anymore :) thank you!
