guten abend!
da ich neu hier bin, möchte ich mich kurz vorstellen: eigentlich befasse ich mich (als hobby) mehr mit wk2- gebäuden, insbesondere schutzräumen, habe aber bei dieser gelegenheit die abgebildeten flugzeugteile auf einer baustelle in der nähe münchens photographiert. ich hoffe, von Euch hier erfahren zu können, um welche maschine(n) es sich gehandelt haben mag. vielen dank im voraus für Euere hilfe!
im folgenden: das 'grüne' teil ist etwa 50 cm lang und besitzt den stempel 'assembly inspected' sowie einige zahlen. muß also ein englisches, amerikanisches, kanadisches .... flugzeugteil sein.
das große gelbe teil ist ca 80 cm lang und hat ein paar handschriftliche markierungen im inneren. vielleicht ein stück von einem ruder?
dann habe ich noch ein bild, ebenfalls von einem teil der 'gelben' maschine. dieses ist mit silberfarbenem kunstleder bezogen, welches mit schlitzschrauben befestigt ist und über ein wellenmuster verfügt, #4737.

Hi,
the part numbers and the inspection stamp are American. To identify the type of aircraft we need more (complete) part numbers when possible. You should be found a lot of part numbers on this parts in best condition!
I can see on two photos a fin...

I'm new in here and so i want to introduce myself first: normally i don't have much to do with planes, rather with ww 2 buildings, especially armored ones. you can still find many in my hometown munich, bavaria.
some days ago in a pile of scrap metal (most of it gasmasks, drinking bottles and other ww2 junk) on a construction site i found airplane parts. Please look at the pictures i took. on the green part (oa lenght about 50 cm) there is a stamp 'assembly inspected' with several numbers, on the yellow one (80 cm) some handwriting. must therefore have been an american english, canadian... plane. there is also a pic of another smaller 'yellow part' which is covered by silvery artificial leather with an up- and- down pattern line on it.
I'd be very glad if you could help me lifting the fog and telling me what kind of plane this might have been.

cant find more numbers at the very moment. only an HT i do remember (heat treatment?) inside a yellow part...

This stamp indicated a Lockheed PV-2 aircraft.
Lockheed used some similar stamps, but with little differences in form of the "H"...

It looks like a B-17 elevator to me. Some measurement can help to be sure...
